Alex Khvatov:  What are your measurements (height, weight and forty time)?

Harry Henschler:  Height: 6’0 3/8”, weight: 240lbs and 40 time: 4.73. 

 

Alex Khvatov:  Where are you currently training for the NFL Draft?

Harry Henschler:  NX Level Sports Performance. 

 

Alex Khvatov:  Were you happy with your performance at the Pro Day?  What were your overall results?

Harry Henschler:  Overall, I was happy with the result, but I always know I can improve.  40 time: 4.73, 10-yard split: 1.56, 225 bench press: 26, vertical: 29.5, broad jump: 111.5, 20-yard shuttle: 4.34 and 3-cone drill: 6.83. 

 

Alex Khvatov:  Coming out of high school, what programs showed interest in you?

Harry Henschler:  I was pursuing a college career in hockey until very late in the recruiting process and was able to find my way into playing football at UWW.

 

Alex Khvatov:  Why did you choose Wisconsin-Whitewater?

Harry Henschler:  Because of the winning tradition and history of the program.

 

Alex Khvatov:  What are your strengths?

Harry Henschler:  My strengths are my speed off of the edge combined with many different pass rush moves.  I also possess fast decision making and quickness.  

 

Alex Khvatov:  What areas of your game are you trying to improve upon?

Harry Henschler:  I think that making plays in the open field is very important and something that I have done time and again, but I feel that I can still improve.

 

Alex Khvatov:  Describe your overall career.

Harry Henschler:  When I first came to play football at Whitewater, I was a linebacker.  The coaches decided that I would be a great help to the team if I switched to defensive end.  During my second season with the Warhawks I came to camp as a DE and suffered a severe ankle injury in fall camp, which was a big setback after the position change.  My junior year, my pass rushing ability allowed me to tally 14 sacks and 17.5 tackles for loss, and was named an All-American after my junior season.  My senior season, I was named a captain and the team went all the way to the national semifinal game.  After my senior season, I was named a consensus AP/AFCA/D3 first team All-American, team MVP, WIAC Defensive Player of the year and D3 football West Region Defensive Player of the Year.   I was also a Gagliardi Award semi-finalist and received the fan vote for that award.  I was also a finalist for the Cliff Harris Award.

 

Alex Khvatov:  What is the highlight of your career up to this point?

Harry Henschler:  The highlight of my career up to this point was playing in the National Semifinal game in Texas.

 

Alex Khvatov:  What is your biggest accomplishment in college that you are most proud of?

Harry Henschler:  I am most proud of being named a team captain, which was voted on by my teammates.  I am also proud of my career accomplishments which is the result of a lot of hard work.

 

Alex Khvatov:  What have you learned the most from your coaching staff?

Harry Henschler:  I learned the most about how the system works and how to take advantage of other teams/players tendencies.

 

Alex Khvatov:  What is your favorite NFL team?

Harry Henschler:  Green Bay. 

 

Alex Khvatov:  Who is your favorite NFL player?

Harry Henschler:  Tom Brady. 

 

Alex Khvatov:  What is the most important trait for a DL?

Harry Henschler:  Ball get off.  You need to get off the ball fast.

 

Alex Khvatov:  Before the ball is snapped, what are the tendencies that you are looking for from the offense?

Harry Henschler:  It depends on what type of offense that is being played and the tendencies that they have.  Most of all, knowing the down and distance and the tendencies they have on particular downs.

 

Alex Khvatov:  What players on your team should we keep an eye on for next season?

Harry Henschler:  Jacob Erbs.  Senior linebacker that has a lot of experience and is a big playmaker.

 

Alex Khvatov:  Who is the best player that you have faced on an opposing team?

Harry Henschler:  Dan Arnold.   

 

Alex Khvatov:  What do you enjoy most about football?

Harry Henschler:  I like the team aspect of football the most.  Being able to go out and compete with your friends for a common goal is very rewarding.

 

Alex Khvatov:  What is your definition of a leader?

Harry Henschler:  Someone who has the ability to motivate others through their words and actions.

 

Alex Khvatov:  What are your hobbies?

Harry Henschler:  Working out and studying the game of football.  I also enjoy restoring old tractors and working on equipment in my free time.

 

Alex Khvatov:  What do you want to do with your life after your football career is over?

Harry Henschler:  My degree is in occupational health and safety.  I will pursue a career in the field.

 

Alex Khvatov:  What five words best describe you?

Harry Henschler:  Aggressive, relentless, straight-forward, disciplined and hard-working.
