Alex Khvatov:  What are your measurements (height, weight and forty time)? 

 

Tevaughn Grant:  Height is 6’1, weight is 250lbs, and forty time: N/A.

 

Alex Khvatov:  Describe your overall experience at the FCS Bowl in Daytona Beach, FL.

 

Tevaughn Grant:  It was a privileged experience, I was able to showcase my abilities, play the game I love and put myself in a position to help further my career. 

 

Alex Khvatov:  Coming out of high school, what programs showed interest in you?

 

Tevaughn Grant:  Navy, CCSU, Wagner College and Rutgers.   

 

Alex Khvatov:  Why did you choose Wagner?

 

Tevaughn Grant:  I chose Wagner because of the family aspect that the program and school itself expressed.  That was a vital factor in my decision because family means everything to me. 

 

Alex Khvatov:  What are your strengths?

 

Tevaughn Grant:  Getting to the quarterback (pass rushing), setting an edge, stopping the run and understanding the defense. 

 

Alex Khvatov:  What areas of your game are you trying to improve upon?

 

Tevaughn Grant:  Dropping in coverage.   

 

Alex Khvatov:  Tell us about your overall career.

 

Tevaughn Grant:  Redshirted as a freshman, developed as a player and played every year after.  I started out as an OLB both rushing the passer and dropping in coverage.  I had a successful junior and senior year.  

 

Alex Khvatov:  What is the highlight of your career up to this point?

 

Tevaughn Grant:  Playing with my D-line. 

 

Alex Khvatov:  What is your biggest accomplishment in college that you are most proud of?

 

Tevaughn Grant:  Growing as a player with my D-line. 

 

Alex Khvatov:  What was the biggest thing that you took away from your coaching staff? 

 

Tevaughn Grant:  Mental aspect of the game, learning and understanding the game better. 

 

Alex Khvatov:  What is your favorite NFL team?

 

Tevaughn Grant:  Baltimore Ravens.   

 

Alex Khvatov:  Who is your favorite NFL player?

 

Tevaughn Grant:  Von Miller and Lawrence Taylor.   

 

Alex Khvatov:  Before the ball is snapped, what are the tendencies that you are looking for from the offense?

 

Tevaughn Grant:  I look at the offensive linemen stances and eyes, position of the back and tight ends. 

 

Alex Khvatov:  What players on your team should we keep an eye on for next season?

 

Tevaughn Grant:  Jabreil Salaam. 

 

Alex Khvatov:  Who is the toughest player that you have faced on an opposing team?

 

Tevaughn Grant:  Matt Peart (RT) UConn.   

 

Alex Khvatov:  What do you enjoy most about football?

 

Tevaughn Grant:  Playing for something bigger than yourself, the family you gain and winning. 

 

Alex Khvatov:  What is your definition of a leader?

 

Tevaughn Grant:  A leader is someone that can not only be held accountable, but can also hold others accountable.  Be a positive voice and lead by example.  

 

Alex Khvatov:  What are your hobbies? 

 

Tevaughn Grant:  Drawing and painting.   

 

Alex Khvatov:  What do you want to do with your life after your football career is over? 

 

Tevaughn Grant:  Sports medicine.
