Friday Practice – Day One

American Team (White)

CB Isaiah Brown (FIU) – shined during Friday’s practice.  He has good length, displayed great speed and fluid hips.  He located the ball well and attacked it while it was in the air.  He put together a strong senior year.

DL Kevin Thurmon (Arkansas State) – transferred from Ball State and spent two seasons at Arkansas State.  He put together an impressive performance during his final game at the Camellia Bowl. He displayed good quickness and impressive pass rush repertoire moves (spin move and swim move) during the one on one’s.  His motor was non-stop and he was also in the backfield during the scrimmage portion.

TE Nakia Griffin-Stewart (Pittsburgh) – transferred from Rutgers to Pitt for his final season.  He has a good catching radius and caught the ball consistently away from his body.  He made some tough catches with the defenders being draped all over him.

WR Jake Bofshever (Long Island) – ran good routes and created separation.  He displayed reliable hands.  He is a slot WR.

CB Kam Prewitt (Campbell University) – started his career at Memphis, but transferred to Campbell.  He is a tough, physical CB.  He made an outstanding one-handed INT in the red zone, while also dropping another possible pick.

RB Walter Fletcher (Ball State) – had an illustrious career at Edinboro before transferring to Ball State for his final season.  He ran good routes and made a terrific one-hand grab.

RB Deonte Glover (Shepherd University) – transfer from West Virginia who had an excellent senior season.  He displayed outstanding, soft hands and the ability to track the ball over his shoulder.
