2020 East/West Shrine Bowl
Monday Practice – Day One
East Team
WR Aaron Parker (Rhode Island)
He has been a smooth playmaker at Rhode Island throughout his career. He caught the ball consistently away from his frame. He displayed terrific hands, good body control and finished well at the catch point. He was the best WR for the East squad.
DE Alex Highsmith (Charlotte)
He had his best season as a senior when he recorded14 sacks. His lightning-quick first step was on full display during Monday’s practice. He was also just flying around. His motor was relentless. He displayed textbook spin move during the one on one’s.
DT McTelvin Agim (Arkansas)
Agim won a lot of reps in the one on one’s. He is surprisingly quick off the ball for a 300-pound DT. He also displayed good hand usage.
CB Nevelle Clarke (UCF)
Clarke has good length and outstanding instincts. He did a good job reading the QB’s eyes. He undercut a short slant route and came up with a PBU. He also had an INT off the tipped ball. He closes in a hurry and demonstrates very good ball skills.
S Rodney Clemons (SMU)
He was a four-year starter at SMU. He is an instinctive DB with a good build. He was always around the ball. He made a few plays in coverage during the practice session.
RB Tavien Feaster (SouthCarolina)
He transferred from Clemson to South Carolina for his final season. He showed good route running ability and reliable hands during practice.
QB Kevin Davidson (Princeton)
Davidson only started as a senior at Princeton. He has good size and a strong arm. He can make all of the throws at the next level. He displayed good accuracy this afternoon including a pretty deep ball.
OG Cameron Clark (Charlotte)
He is a powerful OL who is known for his run-blocking. But he showed his ability in pass pro on Monday. He lined up at guard. He showed strength, a good anchor and the ability to sustain his blocks.
