Alex Khvatov: How would you describe your overall experience at the Senior Bowl?
Keith Ismael: It is an unbelievable experience. It is a blessing. It was one of my goals. I wanted to be here. It was one of my goals in college. I wanted to compete against the best of the best.
Alex Khvatov: What do you want to show NFL teams this week?
Keith Ismael: That I can stack up against big competition. I am coming from a non-power five school. I want to highlight all of my talents as an OL against the best guys.
Alex Khvatov: How did you wind up at San Diego State?
Keith Ismael: They recruited me the summer before my senior year. I chose them because they ran a real pro-style offense. They ran the ball a lot. I came a run heavy offense in high school. I felt like it would fit my strengths. It allowed to compete early in my career.
Alex Khvatov: Where are you from?
Keith Ismael: I was born in San Francisco. I was raised in San Francisco and Oakland.
Alex Khvatov: Where are you currently training for the NFL Draft?
Keith Ismael: At Michael Johnson Performance in McKinney, Texas. The staff out there is great. I love working with the guys.
Alex Khvatov: What are your strengths?
Keith Ismael: Consistency and run blocking ability.
Alex Khvatov: What areas of your game are you trying to improve upon?
Keith Ismael: Playing a full game if that makes sense. Being consistent all the way through.
Alex Khvatov: What is the highlight of your career up to this point?
Keith Ismael: Beating Stanford in 2017. We upset them at home. The fans rushed the field. The lights went out for a little bit in the fourth quarter. It was a great team win and atmosphere. It was one of the most memorable wins.
Alex Khvatov: Can you name a player at San Diego State that we should keep an eye on for next season?
Keith Ismael: We have so many talented guys. Dwayne Johnson, he plays in the secondary. DL Cameron Thomas is a relentless guy. OL Zach Thomas.
Alex Khvatov: What one word best describes you?
Keith Ismael: Consistent.
