Terrell Lewis
Linebacker / Alabama
Ed Hunt: How did it feel out there during the Senior Bowl practice?
Terrell Lewis: It felt good. Day two, kind of making an improvement from day one. Getting active. Getting adjusted to the new install that we did. Competing.
Ed Hunt: What would you say are your biggest strengths?
Terrell Lewis: I’d say my versatility. Being able to rush the passer. Dropping in space and playing coverage. Move along the line of scrimmage and play in space. I try to make sure that I have an all-around game, so they can use me in any shape or form.
Ed Hunt: What do you want to show the scouts here in Mobile?
Terrell Lewis: Basically, just kind of what I just said. Playing any position. Playing in space. Showing my versatility. Show that if they need the job done, I can get it done.
Ed Hunt: Do you think another team could plug you in at 4-3 defensive end?
Terrell Lewis: Yes, sir.
Ed Hunt: What did you play at this year?
Terrell Lewis: Weight wise, I played at 252 or 253.
Ed Hunt: Do you think that’s pretty much right for you?
Terrell Lewis: Right now, I am playing at 258 and I’m still feeling in my frame.
Ed Hunt: Do you think having played at such a high level you have answered the injury questions as much as you could do?
Terrell Lewis: I think so. But just continuing, so an organization feels comfortable in investing in me. See with your own eyes, see how you play and see how you move. Stuff like that, so you can always keep proving yourself.
Ed Hunt: Do you think you could fit into a 4-3 scheme even though you played in a 3-4 scheme.
Terrell Lewis: Yes, sir.
Ed Hunt: Where are you training for the NFL draft?
Terrell Lewis: In Dallas at Michael Johnson performance.
Ed Hunt: What is the one player you watch film on to try to emulate?
Terrell Lewis: I watch all types of edge rushers and I watch guys who don’t even play my position. I watch how they play the game of football. How they lead. Stuff like that. I could just name guys really, Chandler Jones, Khalil Mack. I like their game. Cameron Jordan, guys like that. As far as guys that play the game currently, I would say Tyrann Mathieu. Guys who play hard-nosed football, just physical. A lot of people. I just watch football. I’m a football junkie.
Ed Hunt: Are you a student of the game as well?
Terrell Lewis: Yes, sir!
