Alex Khvatov:  Tell us about this Senior Bowl experience.    

Dane Jackson:  It is an honor just to be invited here and compete against these guys.  We all have the same mission.  We are all trying to get to the next level.  Just to showcase our talents out there on the field. 

Alex Khvatov:  What do you want to show NFL teams this week?

Dane Jackson:  I want to prove that I can play at the next level.  I can compete with any receiver in the country.  I am physical.        

Alex Khvatov:   How would you describe your head coach Pat Narduzzi? 

Dane Jackson:  He is a family guy.  He cares about his players.  He wants to genuinely see his players do well.  He brought us together us a team.  He helped us realize that team matters.  The ultimate goal is us being together and playing as a team, and we won’t get anywhere without it.   

Alex Khvatov:  What are your strengths? 

Dane Jackson:  I bring an aggressive playing nature.  I am physical.  I stick my nose in there whenever I can.  I get aggressive at the line.      

Alex Khvatov:  What areas of your game are you trying to improve upon? 

Dane Jackson:  Working on being more patient at the line against the quicker receivers.  Moving my feet.  Being calmer at the top of the route.   

Alex Khvatov:  How did you wind up at Pitt?

Dane Jackson:  I only had five offers coming out.  Pitt was my biggest offer.  It was my hometown.  I wanted to play at the big stage.  I wanted to compete against the top receivers in the country.   

Alex Khvatov:  What is the highlight of your career up to this point?

Dane Jackson:  Getting our first bowl win.  This previous season.  That was big for the program.  It was a boost for the program.  Set those guys on the team for next year. 

Alex Khvatov:  Who was the best WR that you faced in college?

Dane Jackson:  My teammate Tyler Boyd.      

Alex Khvatov:  What one word best describes you? 

Dane Jackson:  Aggressive.
