A.J. Green
Cornerback / Oklahoma State
Ed Hunt: Can you tell me how you are feeling going into your first Senior Bowl practice?
A.J. Green: I’m going to come down here and show that I can be a dominant corner. Feel good, healthy, just go out there and hit the practice field.
Ed Hunt: Who is the toughest receiver you have faced in the Big 12?
A.J. Green: The hardest receiver I’ve faced is probably CeeDee Lamb.
Ed Hunt: And how do you feel you did against him?
A.J. Green: I did great! He didn’t get in the end zone. He only had like a couple of catches. But like 23 yards from the spot. It was just a nice competition. I love to compete and go against the best.
Ed Hunt: What are your strengths?
A.J. Green: I’m a physical press corner at the line. I have the ability to play off. I’m a play to play type of corner. I can play in any scheme. I can play any type of coverage. I have the speed and the length to match up with any type of receiver including bigger receivers and taller receivers.
Ed Hunt: What’s the one thing you are working on here in Mobile?
A.J. Green: Here in Mobile, I am going to work on fine-tuning my mechanics and being able to process and take all this coaching. Everything here is fast, just adjust and play fast.
Ed Hunt: Do you know your 40 time?
A.J. Green: No, I do not know my 40 time.
Ed Hunt: Are you planning to go to the Combine?
A.J. Green: Yeah, I have a combine invite. We’ll see what I run.
