Khaleke Hudson
Linebacker/Safety / Michigan
Alex Khvatov: Tell us about this Senior Bowl experience.
Khaleke Hudson: It is truly a blessing to be out here with my teammates. Being around the coaches and being around the Lions staff. I thank God for everything.
Alex Khvatov: What do you want to show NFL teams this week?
Khaleke Hudson: I want to show how versatile I am. I want to show that I can play in a box. I can play safety. I can rush the passer. I can be a force in any area of the defense.
Alex Khvatov: What areas of your game are you trying to improve upon?
Khaleke Hudson: Probably my man coverage. Just tightening up a little bit. Working on it since the season. Once I get the rust off, I will just be able to play football.
Alex Khvatov: How did you wind up at Michigan?
Khaleke Hudson: I had a good amount of offers. The last two teams that it came down to are Michigan and Penn State. I picked Michigan because it was a better place for me. I wanted to get away from home, but I also wanted to be close enough, so my family can come to my games. It is also one of the best academic schools in the country. I didn’t want to pass up on the opportunity.
Alex Khvatov: What did you learn the most from your head coach Jim Harbaugh and the rest of the coaching staff?
Khaleke Hudson: Coach Harbaugh always preached hard work to us. He was always preaching about the team. Learning from the defensive staff like coach Brown. The defensive staff helped me grow as a football player and in my success at Michigan.
Alex Khvatov: What is the highlight of your career up to this point?
Khaleke Hudson: My versatility. I was able to show a lot at Michigan. The coaches helped me take my game to the next level.
Alex Khvatov: Who was the toughest teammate to go up against in practice?
Khaleke Hudson: Toughest teammate was my roommate RB Chris Evans. He is shifty. He can catch the ball out of the backfield. He can also run straight downhill. He has the whole package.
Alex Khvatov: What one word best describes you?
Khaleke Hudson: Versatile.
