Alex Khvatov:  Tell us about this Senior Bowl experience. 

Jalen Elliott:  It is definitely an honor and a blessing to be here with so many great players.  I can’t wait to get on the field and compete.     

Alex Khvatov:  What do you want to show NFL teams this week?

Jalen Elliott:  I play fast.  I go and attack when it is in the air.  I make plays for the defense.    

Alex Khvatov:  How did you wind up at Notre Dame?

Jalen Elliott:  I knew nothing about them coming in.  I fell in love with it on my visit.  It was a gut feeling.  I never go against my gut feeling.  I am thankful to be there. 

Alex Khvatov:  What did you learn from your head coach Brian Kelly and the rest of the coaching staff?

Jalen Elliott:  So much.  My defensive coordinator Clark Lea and my position coach Terry Joseph gave me the tools to be successful.  They allowed me to go and play and not just be robotic. 

Alex Khvatov:  What are your strengths?

Jalen Elliott:  Athleticism and being able to attack the ball at the highest point.  Being able to track down and tackle.  I also bring leadership.  Being able to put people in the right spot vocally.  Leading through adversity.        

Alex Khvatov:  What areas of your game are you trying to improve upon?

Jalen Elliott:  Man-to-man coverage.  I need to continue to work on those skills.  Make sure my technique is right. 

Alex Khvatov:  How do you feel being surrounded by so many of your teammates from Notre Dame here at the Senior Bowl?

Jalen Elliott:  It is a great feeling.  My roommate is actually Alohi Gilman.  I feel like at home.  Coming in into a comfortable situation.  Takes some of that initial pressure off who the roommate might be.          

Alex Khvatov:  What is the highlight of your career up to this point?

Jalen Elliott:  More than anything just the bonds and relationships that I built at the school over the years.  The 2016 class is really tight.  I am thankful for that.  I hope that we all just continue to be successful. 

Alex Khvatov:  Where are you currently training for the NFL Draft?     

Jalen Elliott:  At Pete Bommarito in Miami.  It was the best fit for me.  Pete was going to get the most out of me.  I am excited to work. 

Alex Khvatov:  What one word best describes you? 

Jalen Elliott:  Consistent.
