Alex Khvatov:  Tell us about this Senior Bowl experience.

Denzel Mims:  it’s been great.  I have been having a lot of fun.  It feels great to come and compete against the top seniors in this class.  It is good to go against guys from different conferences.

Alex Khvatov:  What did you want to show NFL teams this week?

Denzel Mims:  I wanted to show that I am competitive.  I am tough.  I wanted to show that I can run routes.  I can be an all-around receiver.

Alex Khvatov:  How did you wind up at Baylor?

Denzel Mims:  I had an older cousin who went to Baylor, his name is David Mims.  It was also closer to home.  Growing up, I liked Baylor.  I stuck to it until I got the offer.  I committed.

Alex Khvatov:  What did your head coach Matt Rhule bring to the Baylor program?

Denzel Mims:  They brought everything to the program.  They brought love there.  They turned us into pros.  They made sure that it was a brotherhood and that we all stuck together through thick and thin.  I got a lot of respect for coach Rhule.  I got a lot of respect for the whole staff.

Alex Khvatov:  What is the biggest attribute that you bring to the field?

Denzel Mims:  I am going to compete each and every day.  I am going to be tough.  I will do my assignments, so we can win.  I will put my team in the best situation to win.

Alex Khvatov:  Where are you currently training for the NFL Draft?

Denzel Mims:  At EXOS in Frisco, Texas.

Alex Khvatov:  Who was the toughest corner to face in practice throughout this Senior Bowl week?

Denzel Mims:  They are all tough.  But if I had to say someone, Lamar Jackson from Nebraska.  He is tall and lengthy.  He is just like me, but he is at DB.  He is pretty good.
