Jake Bofshever:  FAU, FIU, Marist, Wagner, Fordham and LIU.

Alex Khvatov:  How did you wind up at Long Island?

Jake Bofshever:  God pointed me that way.

Alex Khvatov:  What are your strengths?

Jake Bofshever:  Reliable, consistent, smart, relentless and hungry.

Alex Khvatov:  What areas of your game are you trying to improve upon?

Jake Bofshever:  All parts of my game.  Nothing’s perfect.  Looking to improve in everything.

Alex Khvatov:  Tell us about your overall career.

Jake Bofshever:  I came in as a QB and made the switch to slot my sophomore year.  Wasn’t an easy road, but with great support group and leaders around me, I was able to grow and turn myself into a good player.  I won a lot of football games and I am always around great people.

Alex Khvatov:  What is the highlight of your career up to this point?

Jake Bofshever:  Winning the championship my JR year!  Nothing like it.

Alex Khvatov:  What is your biggest accomplishment in college that you are most proud of?

Jake Bofshever:  The man I am today vs the man I was my freshman year for sure.

Alex Khvatov:  What was the biggest thing that you took away from your coaching staff?

Jake Bofshever:  Nothing’s given to you, earn everything.  Team first always.

Alex Khvatov:  What is the most important trait for a WR?

Jake Bofshever:  Being reliable and consistently being a player, the coaches and teammates can count on every day.

Alex Khvatov:  What is your favorite NFL team?

Jake Bofshever:  Patriots.

Jake Bofshever:  Tom Brady.

Alex Khvatov:  Before the ball is snapped, what are the tendencies that you are looking for from the defense?

Jake Bofshever:  Where the safeties line up and leverage from LB.

Alex Khvatov:  What players on your team should we keep an eye on for next season?

Jake Bofshever:  There are too many to mention because a lot of them are going to turn a lot of heads, but keep an eye out for Derick Eugene.  The kid is an absolute stud.

Alex Khvatov:  Who is the toughest player that you have faced on an opposing team?

Jake Bofshever:  The corner from South Dakota State was pretty good.

Alex Khvatov:  What are your hobbies?

Jake Bofshever:  Football, working out, hanging with family and most importantly having a relationship with God.

Alex Khvatov:  What do you want to do with your life after your football career is over?

Jake Bofshever:  Not 100% sure, but definitely be a great father, family member and leader in the community.

Alex Khvatov:  What five words best describe you?

Jake Bofshever:  Heart, passion, tough, humble and loyal.
