Top 10:

Joe Burrow, QB, LSU (1)

-pinpoint accurate passer

-very smart runner

-good internal clock

-processes the game well

-average arm strength

-he is the presumptive #1 pick to the Bengals

 

Justin Herbert, QB, Oregon (2)

-can hit moving targets with accuracy

-has good vision as a runner

-can throw under pressure

-has some zip on his passes

-internal clock got better his senior year

 

Tua Tagovailoa, QB, Alabama (3)

-good Internal clock

-good ball placement and accuracy

-sometimes overshoots on the deep ball, but can be very accurate

-aggressive decision-maker/gunslinger mentality

-has some zip on his passes. Decent throwing arm

 

Jalen Hurts, QB, Oklahoma (4)

-prolific runner

-has trouble fitting passes into tight windows

-does not read through his progressions. Takes a look and then runs

-accuracy improved at Oklahoma. Still not at the level I want

-average arm strength. Decent deep ball, but needs better ball placement

-NFL Comparison: Lamar Jackson

-I grade him as a first rounder

 

Jake Fromm, QB, Georgia (5)

-has trouble under pressure in big games

-has a sneaky strong arm

-can have great accuracy and ball placement

-sometimes can be a little inconsistent

-production deflated by bad receiver play

-First round quality QB

 

Jordan Love, QB, Utah State (6)

-mobile for a pocket QB

-has some zip on his passes

-needs to make better decisions

-decent accuracy

-decent internal clock

 

Nate Stanley, QB, Iowa (7) (Underrated)

-needs a quicker internal clock

-good accuracy

-can fit passes into tight windows

-has some zip on his passes/decent arm strength

-played in a conservative offense, but can afford to be more aggressive

 

Tyler Huntley, QB, Utah (8) (underrated)

-can fit passes into tight windows

-good pocket mobility

-actually willing to block!

-good runner who can read the field when running

-average arm strength

-decent accuracy

 

Jacob Eason, QB, Washington (9) (Overrated)

-hot and cold in terms of accuracy

-needs better ball placement

-rocket arm

-needs a better internal clock/holds the ball too long

-needs to make better reads

-player is high upside, but high risk

 

James Morgan, QB, FIU (10)

-could scramble better in the pocket

-needs a quicker internal clock

-has a decently strong arm

-good accuracy

-needs to make better reads

 

Anthony Gordon, QB, Washington State (overrated)

-makes bad reads and throws into double coverage

-likes the short pass

-accuracy could improve

-can sometimes fit passes into tight windows in the intermediate game

-average arm strength

 

Cole McDonald, QB, Hawaii (Sleeper)

-quick internal clock

-can fit the ball into tight windows

-can throw on the run

-has decent pocket mobility

-does make some bad reads

-has sneaky arm strength

-has decent accuracy

-looks a little bit like a poor man’s Phillip Rivers with his mechanics

 

Shea Patterson, QB, Michigan

-had a West Coast Offense at Michigan

-not so good on the deep ball. Has trouble with accuracy

-can throw on the run

-can be accurate on short to intermediate passes

-was more of a pocket quarterback his senior year

 

Steven Montez, QB, Colorado

-very inaccurate

-had him throwing on the run a lot

-slow internal clock

-decent arm strength

-played in a west coast offense

 

Brian Lewerke, QB, Michigan State

-capable of executing designed runs

-below average accuracy

-has decent arm strength

-reads the field pretty well

-benefitted from a conservative passing game

-has trouble throwing under pressure

 

Tom Flacco, QB, Towson

-Run ‘N Gun type of QB

-can really fit passes into tight windows

-good pocket mobility

-good running QB

-average arm strength

-average accuracy

 

Kevin Davidson, QB, Princeton

-needs a quicker internal clock really bad

-played in a conservative offense

-average arm strength/overrated arm strength

-needs to read the field better

-has an okay deep ball

-needs better throwing mechanics/throws off his back foot often

-has some running ability

-has accuracy issues

-has decent throwing strength, but I would like to see more zip on his passes

-needs a better internal clock
