Terry Geiger Jr: I have been able to start doing some weight room more. I have been hitting the field almost every other day doing field workouts and running my routes.

Christopher Reiss: When breaking down your film, what should stand out?

Terry Geiger Jr: I would say the big thing that would stick out is my aggressiveness when blocking and I got sure hands.

Christopher Reiss: Coming out of high school, what schools show interest in you?

Terry Geiger Jr: A bunch of D2 schools.

Christopher Reiss: In high school, what other positions did you play besides wide receiver?

Terry Geiger Jr: Kick returner, punt returner, cornerback and linebacker.

Christopher Reiss: In high school, what other sports did you play besides football?

Terry Geiger Jr: I only played football in high school.

Christopher Reiss: What are the expectations for your team for this upcoming season?

Terry Geiger Jr: No matter what we want to go day by day, we want to win the day. We will know Monday if we will play this season. If we played, we want to make the playoffs.

Christopher Reiss: Is there anyone at Defiance College that we should keep our eye out for this season?

Terry Geiger Jr: S Jaylen Redd, S Steven Lucas, RB Devon Hewitt.

Christopher Reiss: How would you describe your overall college career?

Terry Geiger Jr: It has been a roller coaster. I have played every minute of college football. I do not take this sport for granted. The other thing that I am scared of is that there might be a chance in my life that I will not play this sport again.

Christopher Reiss: What is the highlight of your college football career?

Terry Geiger Jr: The last game of the season last year, I had the chance to play quarterback. It was just a fun experience to see what the quarterback sees.

Christopher Reiss: What are some strengths of your game?

Terry Geiger Jr: My blocking, my sure fire hands, my route running, and I am a big film guy. I love mapping out what the defense does the week before, so I know how to break them apart the next week.

Christopher Reiss: What are some assets of your game that you are trying to improve on?

Terry Geiger Jr: My speed, I have been able improve on. Getting in and out of my breaks.

Christopher Reiss: What do you enjoy most about football?

Terry Geiger Jr: Being able to come together and play for one common goal. To be able to meet other people that have come from other backgrounds. To see how these guys shape into men just from the game of football is amazing to watch.

Christopher Reiss: What are you majoring in?

Terry Geiger Jr: Sports management with a minor in business.

Christopher Reiss: What does life after football look like for you?

Terry Geiger Jr: If I do not make it as a football player, I would love to eventually be a sports agent or coach.

Christopher Reiss: What or who motivates you?

Terry Geiger Jr: The person that has the biggest influence in my life would be my mother because she has shown me no matter all the downs you go through in life, you have to keep on pushing through because no one is going to have any sympathy for you. She taught me how to get it from nothing and how to manage your life even when you got a lot of pressure on yourself.

Christopher Reiss: Is there a player in the NFL that you look up to?

Terry Geiger Jr: The one NFL player I compare myself to would be Michael Thomas because I play the game physically just like him.
