-helps in run defense

Paris Ford, S, Pittsburgh

-Redshirt Junior

-two years of good production

-6’0, 190lbs

-could play both, but is more of a strong safety

-four-star recruit out of high school

-very good instincts

-very good tackler

-good in run support

-needs better ball skills

-he’s a tackle machine, always around the ball

Andre Cisco, S, Syracuse

-True Junior

-6’0, 209lbs

-three years of production

-more of a strong safety but could play both.

-injury in 2020 derailed his draft stock a little

-three-star recruit out of high school

-average tackler

-gives some cushion in coverage

-needs to be more aggressive getting off blocks

-decent in man coverage

-ballhawk, lots of career interceptions

Jevon Holland, S, Oregon

-True Junior

-6’1, 201lbs

-two years of production

-able to play some cornerback

-4-star recruit out of high school

-sat out the 2020 season to prep for the draft

-can be a bit flat footed in coverage

-average in run support

-good at getting off blocks in run support

-I’d like his instincts to be better

-needs to attack the play more, sits back and reacts a lot

Richie Grant, S, Central Florida

-four years of production

-6’0, 194lbs

-Redshirt Senior

-2-star recruit out of high school

-helped himself in Mobile (at Senior Bowl)

-needs to be a better tackler

-needs to get off blocks better

-a little bit slow with his instincts

-needs to attack more as a centerfielder. Spends too much time reading and reacting

-good open field tackler on the deeper half

Caden Sterns, S, Texas

-True Junior

-6’1, 207lbs

-Three years of good production

-5-star recruit out of high school

-had some injury issues in 2020

-instinctual centerfielder

-secure in making the tackles in the run game in the secondary

-competent making open field tackles in the pass game as well

-more of a free safety

-needs to be more physical in coverage. Gives up the underneath

-decent in coverage though. Doesn’t get beat deep.

Hamsah Nasirildeen, S, Florida State

-6’4, 220lbs

-True Senior

-4-star recruit out of high school

-showed he recovered from his injury by playing in the senior bowl

-played a lot of deep safety

-not asked to do a lot in run support

-shows up more in run support in the red zone

-good effort on the blitz

-good tackler

-more of a free safety

-sub 4.6 speed

-does sometimes miss assignments

-decent tackler in the secondary

-physical in zone

-decent instincts

-not a heavy hitter

-needs to be more physical in zone coverage

-does stay in phase pretty well in zone coverage

-I like his agility in coverage

-shows good run support ability

-good instincts to read the play and take the first step the right way

-tackles the catch in man coverage

-good eye discipline

-reads run and pass very well in the offense
