Kyle Pitts, TE, Florida

-Junior

-6’6, 246lbs

-three years of production, two years of high production

-Elite receiving tight end

-1st team all-SEC in 2019

-4-star recruit out of high school

-elite physicality in the way he runs his routes

-matchup nightmare in the receiving game

-great hands to make the catch in traffic

-very good route runner for a tight end

-gets in and out of his breaks very well

Pat Freiermuth, TE, Penn State

-True Junior

-6’5, 258lbs

-three years of production

-had a season ending injury in 2020

-4-star recruit out of high school

-good in-line blocking tight end

-has very good blocking technique

-good pass blocker too

-very good in and out of his breaks as a route runner

-good hands as a receiving tight end

Brevin Jordan, TE, Miami

-True Junior

-6’3, 245lbs

-three-years of production

-1st team all-ACC

-4-star recruit out of high school

-decent receiving tight end

-decent route runner but needs to be sharper on his routes

-decent lead run blocker for a tight end

-average speed on his routes

-decent hands

Hunter Long, TE, Boston College

-second leading receiver for the Eagles

-two-year starter for the Eagles

-6’5 253 pounds

-has played some special teams

-really only has three years of play under his belt

-third team all-acc in 2019

-I like the quickness that he gets off the line of scrimmage as a tight end

-I like his toughness in the North Carolina game

-needs to sharpen his route running but is still an average route runner

-has no trouble getting off the line of scrimmage

-good hands as a receiver

-I like his hand use when blocking despite being more of a receiving tight end.

Tre McKitty, TE, Georgia

-Not very productive his senior year

-was a contributor as a Sophomore and Junior

-senior

-6’5 245 pounds

-wasn’t even the Bulldogs top receiving tight end

-needs more effort in his route running

-used as a split end a lot

-needs better feet blocking in space

-capable pass catcher

-decent speed when route running

-average in-line blocker

Quintin Morris, TE, Bowling Green

-leading receiver for Bowling Green

-didn’t play many games in 2020

-6’4, 251 pounds

-productive all four years at Bowling Green

-decent blocker

-understands how to fake a block and go out for a pass

-some trouble getting separation because of his foot speed

-has some potential with his body control as a route runner

-cuts well as a route runner

Kylen Granson, TE, SMU

-#2 in receiving for the Mustangs

-senior

-productive all four years

-6’3 and 235 pounds

-decent pass blocker

-Average foot speed

-I like the way he finishes his run blocks

-wasn’t getting separation in the passing game

-needs to engage better in blocking when slit out wide

Tony Poljan, TE, Virginia

-411 receiving yards for the Cavaliers which puts him four on the year in receiving

-6 TD catches which puts him at the top with the Cavaliers

-Senior

-6’7 265 pounds

-Senior transfer from Central Michigan

-Converted from QB to TE

-uses his height advantage well to beat who is covering him

-surprisingly good blocker for how raw he is

-not afraid to block when he is split out wide

-very simple route runner with the Cavaliers

-very competent as a pass blocker

Nick Eubanks, TE, Michigan

-6’5, 256lbs

-Redshirt Senior

-4 years of production

-poor QB play limited production

-3-star recruit out of high school

-I like his quickness as a route runner

-needs to engage better when blocking

-decent run blocker on the move

-he is a very good downfield blocker

-good run blocker, but didn’t in-line block a lot

Matt Bushman, TE, BYU

-6’5, 240lbs

-Senior

-three years of production

-ruptured his Achilles in preseason of 2020

-three-star recruit out of high school

-25-years old

-good character, has his own foundation

-already married

-one of the top tight ends in the country before his injury

-lined up as a split end

-good hands

-average blocker

-needs to move his feet better when pass blocking

-flashes very good technique as a run blocker

-inline blocking is better than blocking in space for sure

Josh Pederson, TE, Louisiana-Monroe

-Senior

-6’5, 235lbs

-4 years of production

-a little raw

-2-star recruit out of high school

-needs better awareness when run blocking

-good YAC guy

-smart route runner as a tight end

-6’5 height

-decent speed

John Bates, TE, Boise State

-Redshirt Senior

-6’6, 256lbs

-4 years of production

-didn’t have a great 2020

-3-star recruit out of high school

-All-Mountain West Honorable Mention in 2019

-average run blocker

-blocks well when moving in space

-doesn’t do much pass catching in Boise State’s offense

-I like how he finishes his blocks

-average route runner for a tight end

-can help in the passing game although not used there a lot unless for blocking

Tommy Tremble, TE, Notre Dame

-6’4, 248lbs

-True Junior

-two-years of production

-acknowledged as a great run blocker by the Media

-3-star recruit out of high school

-thin frame. Almost has a receiver’s build

-needs to be sharper as a route runner

-average route runner for a tight end

-can make the difficult catch in traffic

-can turn into a vicious run blocker but needs to improve his consistency

-I like the way he sustains his run blocks

-flashes good run blocking technique

-needs to add weight to his frame to lay the lumber

-competent pass catcher, but does not excel in this category.

Kenny Yeboah, TE, Mississippi

-Second in receiving for Ole Miss with 524 yards

-6 touchdown receptions but was more an option as opposed to the go-to guy in the red zone

-6’4 240 pounds

-graduate transfer from Temple

-most productive his last year in the SEC

-could improve as a blocker at the second level

-simple route runner, but can be a zone beater

-is a capable blocker

-has some trouble getting separation on his routes

-I like his lateral movement when blocking for a tight end
