DOB: 10/7/86 Injury history: Minor
Strengths: Perhaps more important than any other characteristic, Chase has proven that he's a leader.  A big game player who is at his best under the lights.  Somewhat unorthodox in his style of player, he always seems to find a way to get it done.  Throws a catchable ball, especially in the intermediate zone.  Good touch on his short balls and knows when to add or subtract zip.  Average release with a clean technique.  Dangerous as a runner.  He feels the rush well in the pocket and isn't afraid of taking advantage of what the defense gives him.  A collected player who won't be rattled easily.  Shows natural leadership skills.
Weaknesses: Listed at 6'0", he's probably not going to crack the 6 foot marker when combine times rolls around.  Has nothing more than slightly above average arm strength.  Can be inconsistent throwing the out pattern and will occasionally under-throw the deep ball.  He'll get into a mode where he's trying to do everything himself and make poor throws (across his body).
Overall: Height and arm strength are the issues here.  The more you watch him, the more you see the Jeff Garcia in his game.  Daniel is a sparkplug.  There's no reason he can't have a similar pro career.
