Alex Khvatov:  Describe your overall experience during the Senior Bowl week.
Jack Mewhort:  If I had one word to describe this experience, it would be competitive.  Everybody is a tremendous football player here.  I have a lot of respect for everybody.  We come out here every day and try to show these decision makers who we are.  Then we show them who we are off the field when we leave practice.  It has been a great experience.  It has been a lot of fun.
Alex Khvatov:  Who was the toughest DL that you went up against in practice?
Jack Mewhort:  I can’t pick one.  They all have a lot of strengths.  They are very active and very aggressive.  They are all tremendous football players.
Alex Khvatov:  What are your strengths on the football field?
Jack Mewhort:  I think that I am tough.  I like to finish plays.  I am very versatile.  I can play a lot of different positions.
Alex Khvatov:  What are you trying to show scouts during this week?
Jack Mewhort:  I want to show that I am tough.  If there are questions about me playing on the edge, I want to shut that talk down.  I am a tackle even though it might be on the right side.
Alex Khvatov:  What was the highlight of your career at Ohio State?
Jack Mewhort:  The thing that I will always remember is standing on the field in Columbus after beating Michigan.  We capped a perfect 12-0 season during my junior year.  We didn’t have a bowl game, but we sent those seniors out the right way.
Alex Khvatov:  What did you learn from your head coach Urban Meyer?
Jack Mewhort:  He taught me to always compete.  You always have to be competitive in everything you do on and off the field.  It is the one thing that he instilled in me.
Alex Khvatov:  Finish the sentence, Jack Mewhort is….
Jack Mewhort:  I think that I am hard worker on and off the field.  I am tough mentally and physically.  I also do things the right way.
