Alex Khvatov:  Describe your experience at the East/West Shrine Game.
Marcus Williams:  It is a great experience.  I am playing against some of the best players in the country.  It is a chance to come out and showcase your talent in front of the scouts.  It has been a fun time.
Alex Khvatov:  What has been the highlight for you during this week?
Marcus Williams:  Just getting out here and playing with these guys.  I am from a small school and I just wanted to show that I could play with the best.
Alex Khvatov:  Describe your career at North Dakota State.
Marcus Williams:  It was a great career.  I had fun for four years.  I won three National Championships.  I played in a great stadium.  I played in front of great fans.  I also had great teammates.  I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
Alex Khvatov:  What are your strengths?
Marcus Williams:  I cover well.  I have great ball skills.  When the ball is in the air, I usually come down with it.  I am also good in press coverage.  We haven’t done press here at the Shrine Game, but I will show it during the Combine.
Alex Khvatov:  What are you trying to show scouts this week?
Marcus Williams:  My footwork.  We are playing on a soft surface, so I am trying to keep my feet tight.  We have been playing against some great receivers who are really fast.  I just want to show that I can play with any receivers, no matter what school they are from.
Alex Khvatov:  Who was the best WR in practice?
Marcus Williams:  John Brown from Pitt State.  He is a quick, shifty WR.  I couldn’t press him here.  We were playing off man coverage.  I needed to keep my footwork down.
Alex Khvatov:  Finish the sentence, Marcus Williams is….
Marcus Williams:  I am a leader.  I am a player that you can count on to make the play in the fourth quarter.  Off the field, I study film.
