Alex Khvatov: What are your measurements (height, weight and forty time)?
B.J. McCoy: 5’8, 213 pounds and 4.5 forty.
Alex Khvatov: Where are you currently training for the NFL Draft?
B.J. McCoy: I am still in school. I am working on my own. I have a personal trainer on the side.
Alex Khvatov: What are your expectations for your Pro Day?
B.J. McCoy: It will be on March 16th at Kennesaw State. I want to show them that I know the game of football. I want to run a 4.5. My goal on the bench press is about 40 reps, on the vertical I want to jump between 33-36 inches and on the broad jump between 10-11 feet. I want to show them that I am a player they should take.
Alex Khvatov: Coming out of high school, what programs showed interest in you?
B.J. McCoy: Ole Miss, Mississippi State, East Carolina and Georgia Tech looked at me. I was going to go to Alabama A&M because they gave me a full ride. But I didn’t get in because my ACT score was low.
Alex Khvatov: Why did you choose Shorter?
B.J. McCoy: They offered me a full ride.
Alex Khvatov: Describe your overall career.
B.J. McCoy: Individually, junior year was my best season. I gained 1,489 rushing yards and 10 TD’s.
Alex Khvatov: What are your strengths?
B.J. McCoy: I pick up the tough yards. I am a physical runner. I am also a great pass blocker.
Alex Khvatov: What areas of your game are you trying to improve upon?
B.J. McCoy: Catching the ball and also making the necessary cuts.
Alex Khvatov: What is the highlight of your career up to this point?
B.J. McCoy: There was a game against SE Missouri State. My team and I came together. We beat them. It was the one game that stood out.
Alex Khvatov: What is your favorite NFL team?
B.J. McCoy: The Baltimore Ravens.
Alex Khvatov: Who is your favorite NFL player?
B.J. McCoy: Herschel Walker.
Alex Khvatov: What is the most important trait for a RB?
B.J. McCoy: Vision and awareness.

B.J. McCoy: RB Serion Bellamy. He is a great back. He is from Tampa, FL.
Alex Khvatov: Who is the best player that you have faced during your career?
B.J. McCoy: Tyreek Hill from West Alabama.
Alex Khvatov: What do you enjoy most about football?
B.J. McCoy: The fans and seeing my family in the stands.
Alex Khvatov: What are your hobbies?
B.J. McCoy: I love training people. I like hanging out with my dad. I like to have fun.
Alex Khvatov: What do you want to do with your life after your football career is over?
B.J. McCoy: I want to open up my own gym. I want to become a personal trainer for celebrities. I also might want to become a strength and conditioning coach in college.
