Alex Khvatov: Tell us about this experience at the Senior Bowl.
Alex Cappa: At the start of my senior year, I was hoping that I would be here. Everybody wants to be here. It is the best place to compete and showcase what you are able to do.
Alex Khvatov: How did you wind up at Humboldt State?
Alex Cappa: I am a California guy. I was undersized coming out of high school. I played OL and TE in high school.
Alex Khvatov: What are your strengths on the field?
Alex Cappa: Definitely my ability to finish. I love to compete and play physical.
Alex Khvatov: What areas of your game are you trying to improve upon?
Alex Cappa: Just being more consistent. Technique is everything.
Alex Khvatov: You are from a small school. What is it like being a small fish in a large pond?
Alex Cappa: We are all in the same playing field. It is a reason why we are all here. We are all good players. I guess that I still have something to prove coming from a D-II school.
Alex Khvatov: Tell us about your career.
Alex Cappa: We didn’t accomplish everything we wanted. We won one conference championship and advanced to the playoffs. We definitely wanted to win more. As an individual, I had a great time playing up there. I love to compete and play.
Alex Khvatov: Who was the toughest player that you have played against?
Alex Cappa: A couple of years ago, I played against DL Collin Bevins from NW Missouri State in the playoffs. He was a good player.
