Siran Neal Interview

Siran Neal

Defensive Back – Senior

Jacksonville State

Alex Khvatov:  What is it like being here at the Senior Bowl?

Siran Neal:  This is a business trip.  You have to handle your business.  I am blessed to be here.  I am very honored.

Alex Khvatov:  What are your strengths on the field?

Siran Neal:  I bring energy.  I bring a great vibe.  I have a leader’s mentality.

Alex Khvatov:  What areas of your game are you trying to improve upon?

Siran Neal:  I get a little overaggressive in coverage.  I also need to work on my forty when I go back.  I want to get it down to a 4.4.

Alex Khvatov:  How did you wind up at Jacksonville State?

Siran Neal:  I wasn’t highly recruited out of high school.  I really didn’t put my film out there much.  I went to another high school during my 12th grade year.  I got my requirements together, so I could be successful.

Alex Khvatov:  Who was the toughest WR that you have played against?

Siran Neal:  #2 WR Ricky Jeune from Georgia Tech.  He gave me a pretty good game.

Alex Khvatov:  What do you want to show NFL teams during the Senior Bowl week?

Siran Neal:  I want to prove that it doesn’t matter what school you come from.  If you can play ball, you can make it.

Alex Khvatov:  Tell us about your career at Jacksonville State.

Siran Neal:  I really accomplished a lot during my career.  I wanted to become All-OVC and an All-American.  I accomplished those goals.  I am a draftable guy.  I am here at the Senior Bowl with all of these great players.  I can compete with bigger schools.
