Braxton Berrios
Wide Receiver – Senior
Miami, FL
Alex Khvatov: Tell us about this Senior Bowl experience.
Braxton Berrios: It’s humbling to be here around this much talent. It’s truly an honor. It’s such a unique experience to be surrounded by 32 teams in such close quarters. You try to slow down this experience as much as you can and take it all in.
Alex Khvatov: Mark Richt and the new coaching staff changed the culture in Miami. How were they able to bring a winning mentality to the program again?
Braxton Berrios: Every coach tries to come in and change the culture. But it hasn’t changed. Coach Richt just runs a tight ship. Everybody in that building bought in 100% into what the coaches were telling us on the field and off the field. We bought into this football program. We have an incredible coaching staff.
Alex Khvatov: What are your strengths on the field?
Braxton Berrios: I bring leadership. I am a viable receiver and a good blocker. I catch the ball when it is thrown to me. I am quick and I can run away from you.
Alex Khvatov: Who was the toughest CB that you have played against?
Braxton Berrios: It is a tough question because I have played against many great players in the ACC. We have top-tier talent in the conference. I went against the best of the best.
Alex Khvatov: What do you want to show NFL teams this week?
Braxton Berrios: All of the NFL teams have seen everybody’s film here. They know who you are. I just want to reiterate that I am a playmaker. They want to get to know you as a human being. They want to know who they are investing in. They want to know that you are a safe bet. You get to meet so many teams here. You build a relationship and trust with them.
