Cedrick Wilson
Wide Receiver – Senior
Boise State
Alex Khvatov: Tell me about this Senior Bowl experience.
Cedrick Wilson: It is definitely a great experience to be out here. Meeting scouts and going up against the best guys in the nation. Not many people get to have this opportunity. It is a blessing to come out here. A lot of hard work mentally and physically. We are getting through it pretty good.
Alex Khvatov: Who has been the toughest CB that you have faced during practice here in Mobile?
Cedrick Wilson: The corner from Boston College (Isaac Yiadom). I can’t remember his name. He is a tall corner. He is very physical right at the line.
Alex Khvatov: What is the main difference between college and NFL coaching?
Cedrick Wilson: It is more straightforward. You build relationships with your coaches in college. NFL coaches are telling straight facts here. Just go to work.
Alex Khvatov: Your father played in the NFL. What advice has he given you about this journey?
Cedrick Wilson: Just keep the effort up. It is a business. Keep working.
Alex Khvatov: What are your strengths on the field?
Cedrick Wilson: I bring playmaking ability. I can also make plays in the return game.
Alex Khvatov: What areas of your game are you trying to improve upon?
Cedrick Wilson: Improving against man coverage. That is the biggest thing I need to work on.
Alex Khvatov: What was the highlight for you at Boise State?
Cedrick Wilson: Overall senior season. We won the Mountain West conference championship. It is the overall team thing. We were 2-2 in the beginning of the season. Then we won seven straight games.
