Alex Khvatov: What are your measurements (height, weight and forty time)?
Tevin Isom: 6’1, 211lbs, 4.5 40-yard dash.
Alex Khvatov: Where will you be training for the NFL Draft?
Tevin Isom: Atlanta, GA with Chip Smith Performance Systems.
Alex Khvatov: Coming out of high school, what programs showed interest in you?
Tevin Isom: There were a lot of programs that showed interest from D-I schools to D-II schools. From the University of Florida to Albany State University.
Alex Khvatov: Why did you choose Alabama?
Tevin Isom: I chose to go to The University of Alabama because I wanted learn the game of football from the best coach in the nation (Coach Saban) and challenged myself to get better by going up against the best players in college football.
Alex Khvatov: Why did you decide to transfer to West Georgia?
Tevin Isom: I decided to transfer to UWG after sitting out of school for two years when I left Alabama due to financial issues. I chose UWG because it was close to home (Atlanta) and considering that they play in the only conference that’s a mirror of the SEC, but for D-II football. I felt like it was only right to go West and use what I learned at Bama to help build a foundation at this program.
Alex Khvatov: Tell us about your overall experience at the National Bowl all-star game.
Tevin Isom: The National Bowl was awesome! It was a great three days where I met tons of players from the D-II level chasing the same dream as myself! There was tons of competition, friendships made and pure fun out there! I loved every second of it!
Alex Khvatov: What is the biggest thing that you will take away from that weekend?
Tevin Isom: I’d say knowing that I gave it my all! I left it all out on the field. I feel pretty good about my performance on that weekend.
Alex Khvatov: Who is the best CB that you faced at the National Bowl?
Tevin Isom: The best CB I faced at the National Bowl was Andrew Roach! We were going at it the entire time! He’s a great competitor, with a huge heart! I’d love to matchup with him again someday!
Alex Khvatov: What are your strengths?
Tevin Isom: Hard worker, being a team player, being a leader on and off the field.
Alex Khvatov: What areas of your game are you trying to improve upon?
Tevin Isom: Right now, just the speed aspect of my game. I want to be a little faster.
Alex Khvatov: Describe your overall career.
Tevin Isom: It was a great journey! I met a lot of great players with even better stories! I learned a lot of life lessons because of this game and I’m thankful for that!
Alex Khvatov: What is the highlight of your career up to this point?
Tevin Isom: I would say sitting home for two straight seasons then coming back and making all-conference two straight seasons!
Alex Khvatov: What is your favorite NFL team?
Tevin Isom: Patriots.
Alex Khvatov: Who is your favorite NFL player?
Tevin Isom: Tom Brady.
Alex Khvatov: What is the most important trait for a WR?
Tevin Isom: Hand-eye coordination.
Alex Khvatov: What underclassmen on your team should we keep an eye on next season?
Tevin Isom: LaPerion Perry! Straight speed!
Alex Khvatov: Who is the best player that you have faced during your college career?
Tevin Isom: I’d go back to my Bama days going against Cyrus Jones at practice everyday. Giving him my all and him giving his, just making each other better!
Alex Khvatov: What do you enjoy most about football?
Tevin Isom: I enjoy how football teaches you about life and how to handle adversity, good or bad. It’s all about how you respond to adversity.
Alex Khvatov: What are your hobbies?
Tevin Isom: Video games, photography, collecting shoes, cooking and listening to music.
Alex Khvatov: What do you want to do with your life after your football career is over?
Tevin Isom: I want to start a foundation and give back to less fortunate communities because when I was growing up, it was pretty rough where some days I had to do homework in the dark or had to eat a pack of noodles for three weeks straight. I don’t want others to go through that.
Alex Khvatov: What is the biggest lesson that you have learned in life so far?
Tevin Isom: Never give up! I say that because there’s always hope, you just got to have the will and the want to, to keep fighting for what you want. I believe that’s why I am where I am today because I never lost hope and I thank my mom and my grandmother for instilling that in me as a child growing up.
Alex Khvatov: What is your definition of a leader?
Tevin Isom: Being the first one in and the last one out, solving problems and always doing the right things.
Alex Khvatov: What one word best describes you?
Tevin Isom: Leader.

Tevin Isom: Alabama.
