Dylan Hamilton:  The experience of showing my talent in front of many scouts.

Alex Khvatov:  Who was the best player that you have faced during the all-star game weekend?

Dylan Hamilton:  I’m not sure.  There was a lot of great talent out there that I have faced.

Alex Khvatov:  Coming out of high school, what programs showed interest in you?

Dylan Hamilton:  Mercer and Presbyterian a little, but Alabama A&M was the only offer.

Alex Khvatov:  Why did you choose Alabama A&M?

Dylan Hamilton:  It was the best chance to further my career for the love of football and an opportunity for a free education.

Alex Khvatov:  What are your strengths?

Dylan Hamilton:  I am a smart player.  I recognize route concepts and I am a quick leaner.

Alex Khvatov:  What areas of your game are you trying to improve upon?

Dylan Hamilton:  There are always areas you could work on.  I would try to work on getting faster and working on my feet.

Alex Khvatov:  Describe your overall career to us.

Dylan Hamilton:  I came in and played as a true freshman.  I learned and I’ve gotten better every year in my perspective.  It was a long journey, but I had fun in every moment of it.

Alex Khvatov:  What is your biggest accomplishment that you are most proud of?

Dylan Hamilton:  Earning All-Conference honors back-to-back from this season and the last one as well.

Alex Khvatov:  What is the highlight of your career up to this point?

Dylan Hamilton:  I would have to say the 2018 Magic City Classic.  That was one of the best games I’ve had, plus it was on ESPN as well in such a great atmosphere.

Alex Khvatov:  What have you learned the most from your coaching staff?

Dylan Hamilton:  The coaching staff is full of winners.  You can notice the mood in practice and in preparation.  Every week, we are expected to win and nothing less.

Alex Khvatov:  What is your favorite NFL team?

Dylan Hamilton:  The Kansas City Chiefs since fourth grade.

Alex Khvatov:  Who is your favorite NFL player?

Dylan Hamilton:  Eric Berry.

Alex Khvatov:  What is the most important trait for a DB?

Dylan Hamilton:  Technique is the most important.

Alex Khvatov:  Before the ball is snapped, what are the tendencies that you are looking for from the offense?

Dylan Hamilton:  I always read the tackle, they tell you run or pass every time.

Alex Khvatov:  What players on your team should we keep an eye on for next season?

Dylan Hamilton:  There are a lot of solid guys on the defense with Armoni and Amari Holloway, Desmond Fletcher and Mike Mills as well.  On offense, Tank Dell, Brian Jenkins Jr., Aqeell Glass and Jordan Bentley. There is so much talent on the team so keep an eye on everyone.

Alex Khvatov:  Who is the toughest player that you have faced on an opposing team?

Dylan Hamilton:  I would say Noah Johnson, QB from Alcorn State.  He is a great leader, tough, fast and a good decision maker with the ball.

Alex Khvatov:  What do you enjoy most about football?

Dylan Hamilton:  Putting on the pads and just the feeling of playing the best game in the world at the next level.

Alex Khvatov:  Who is your biggest role model and why?

Dylan Hamilton:  Eric Berry. The way his path has been.  Cancer survivor, good guy and loves the game.  He plays every play like it’s his last.

Alex Khvatov:  What is your definition of a leader?

Dylan Hamilton:  Leading by example on and off the field.  A great leader was once a great follower. So it takes some time to develop that type of role.

Alex Khvatov:  What are your hobbies?

Dylan Hamilton:  I usually run to keep in shape, always watch football and play video games.

Alex Khvatov:  What do you want to do with your life after your football career is over?

Dylan Hamilton:  I want to start coaching.  I feel that I have great information and skills.  I could teach the younger kids to get them ahead in their game.

Alex Khvatov:  What five words best describe you?

Dylan Hamilton:  Hard working, dedicated, outgoing, patient and a winner.

Alex Khvatov:  Who will win the National Championship in CFB this year?
