-kick returner

-lined up in the slot

-more of a slot guy in the NFL

-limited tape

-doesn’t stand out on tape in lower division football

 

Kris Boyd, CB, Texas

 

-needs to be more physical at LOS

-soft in coverage

-willing to support the run

-played a lot of zone at Texas

-lined up in the slot and on the outside

 

Jordan Brown, CB, South Dakota St.

 

-fluid opening up his hips

-stays in phase in coverage

-needs to be a better tackler

-willing to support the run

-decent ball skills

 

Isaiah Johnson, CB, Houston

 

-speedy but lacks acceleration

-tall (6’4)

-seems to open his hips too early

-average in coverage

-can tackle

 

Lonnie Johnson Jr., CB, Kentucky

 

-lined up in the slot and outside

-stays in phase in coverage

-strong cover corner

-fluid hips

-average run/blitz supporter

 

Amani Oruwariye, CB, Penn State

 

-good at staying in phase in coverage

-very technically sound

-asked to blitz and support run at Penn State

-good ball skills

-fluid opening up his hips
