DT Daniel Wise (Kansas)

He was the most impressive player here this week.  He dominated in the one on one’s.  He displayed quickness, heavy hands and a great motor.  He brought energy on every snap.  His hand usage and pass rush moves were on display.  He is a versatile DL with long arms.

WR KeeSean Johnson (Fresno State)

He showed his versatility this entire week.  He can line up inside and outside.  He can return kicks and punts.  He is very smooth off the line.  He ran precise routes and showed terrific hands.  He caught the ball consistently away from his frame.

RB Devine Ozigbo (Nebraska)

He had a breakout senior season.  He is well built with a thick lower body.  He is strong and runs hard between the tackles.  He displayed nifty feet and found little creases in the defense.  He has good lateral quickness and showed soft hands.

CB Jordan Wyatt (SMU)

He had a strong week here in Florida.  He is a playmaker at the cornerback position with outstanding ball skills.  He displayed quick feet and fluid hips.  He is an instinctive player who has shown terrific closing speed.

CB Jimmy Moreland (James Madison)

He displayed a smooth backpedal, quick feet and changed directions very quickly.  He is an undersized CB with great ball skills.  Even though, I saw him drop a few INT’s in practice.  He is a feisty, aggressive, athletic CB with good instincts.  He showed his speed against quicker WR’s and was physical against the taller guys.

WR Terry Godwin (Georgia)

East WR consistently made plays in practice this week.  It carried over to the game on Saturday where he earned the MVP award by catching two TD passes.  He has great speed and shows great acceleration off the line.  He is a deep threat, but he also displayed his ability to make contested catches in traffic.  He showed very good hands and ran terrific routes.  He was so sharp in and out of his cuts and created consistent separation.

DT Chris Nelson (Texas)

He has played NT and DE with the Longhorns.  He is a good run defender with terrific strength at the POA and can occupy double teams.  He surprised me with his pass rush skills in the one on one’s.  He displayed quickness and power.

OL Oli Udoh (Elon)

Massive OL with a huge wingspan and long arms.  He has played RT and RG this week for the East team.  He excelled in pass protection.  He displayed great strength and good feet.  He moves well for his size and sustained his blocks very well.  He has been added to the Senior Bowl roster.

P Jack Fox (Rice)

His leg strength is outstanding.  However, I was impressed with the consistent hangtime on his punts.  He dropped his kicks inside the 10-yard line with regularity.
