Alex Khvatov:  What is the biggest thing that you will take away from that weekend?

Ryan Fulse:  There are a lot of good players from around the country.  Stay on your game.

Alex Khvatov:  How would you describe your overall experience at the Tropical Bowl?

Ryan Fulse:  Talent level was amazing.  Bigger schools were represented.  Competition was at a higher level.

Alex Khvatov:  What type of feedback did you receive from scouts?

Ryan Fulse:  They really like my speed and my game film.  Scouts know what I can do.  I can catch the ball out of the backfield.  I received good news from scouts.

Alex Khvatov:  Who was the best player that you have faced at the Tropical Bowl?

Ryan Fulse:  DT from West Virginia (Kenny Bigelow).  He is a big kid.  He is really good.

Alex Khvatov:  Coming out of high school, what programs showed interest in you?

Ryan Fulse:  I had letters from Middle Tennessee, Missouri, Miami, North Dakota State, but my grades were bad in high school.  I am from Florida and I moved to NY for college.

Alex Khvatov:  Why did you choose Monroe College?

Ryan Fulse:  They were willing to give me a partial scholarship.  I looked at JUCO as well.  My GPA was 2.1 or 2.2 and I didn’t have good test scores coming out of high school.

Alex Khvatov:  Why did you decide to transfer to Wagner?

Ryan Fulse:  Coming out of Monroe, I was talking to Western Kentucky, but their coaching left.  Wagner was my last option.

Alex Khvatov:  What are your strengths?

Ryan Fulse:  Most definitely my vision and patience.  I read my blockers well and the alignment.  I am able to set up moves.

Alex Khvatov:  What areas of your game are you trying to improve upon?

Ryan Fulse:  My blocking.

Alex Khvatov:  Describe your overall career to us.

Ryan Fulse:  Individually, I went over 1,000 yards my first year at Wagner.  During my senior year, I became more versatile.  I was catching the ball out of the backfield.  I had over 25 catches, over 1700 yards on the ground and 12 TD’s.  We didn’t accomplish our team goals.  We went 4-7.

Alex Khvatov:  What is your biggest accomplishment that you are most proud of?

Ryan Fulse:  The game against Saint Francis.  We did a trick play.  It was a reverse play.  The QB got it, pitched it to the WR and he pitched it to the other WR who threw it to a TE for a TD.  We won the game.

Alex Khvatov:  What is the highlight of your career up to this point?

Ryan Fulse:  It was against Montana State.  It was a stretch right play and I took it for 50 yards.  The whole stadium got quiet.

Alex Khvatov:  What have you learned the most from your coaching staff?

Ryan Fulse:  I am more mature as a man.  I am more accountable.  I need to be more vocal in order to be a better teammate.  I became a better leader my senior year.
