WR Terry Godwin (Georgia) Shrine Game Interview

Terry Godwin

Wide Receiver

Georgia

Alex Khvatov:  Tell us about your overall experience at the 2019 East/West Shrine Game.

Terry Godwin:  It is a great experience.  You are out here competing with the guys all over the nation.  It is good to be bonding with some guys on the offense that you have never played against before.

Alex Khvatov:  Why did you choose Georgia coming out of high school?

Terry Godwin:  Every time I visited the campus, it felt like home.  I knew the type of man coach Richt was.  It was a perfect fit for me.

Alex Khvatov:  What is the highlight of you career up to this point?

Terry Godwin:  The catch against Notre Dame.

Alex Khvatov:  What are your strengths?

Terry Godwin:  I am a coach out there on the field.  I am also a great route runner and I have great hands.

Alex Khvatov:  What areas of your game are you trying to improve upon?

Terry Godwin:  Everything.  I am the type of guy that chases perfection.  I want to learn more about this game.  I want to be more of a technician.

Alex Khvatov:  Who was the toughest CB that you faced during this week?

Terry Godwin:  They have all been good.  They are all great and have a competitive nature.

Alex Khvatov:  How would you describe your teammates Riley Ridley and Mecole Hardman?

Terry Godwin:  As far as football, the film speaks for itself.  Mecole is running past people and catching people.  He is running option routes.  Riley Ridley is the muscles.  He can run through you and block you.

Alex Khvatov:  What was the proudest moment in college for you?

Terry Godwin:  Graduating this upcoming May.  I am getting my degree in sports management.

Alex Khvatov:  What one word best describes you?

Terry Godwin:  As a football player, I am a coach.
