Alex Khvatov: Describe your overall experience at the 2019 East/West Shrine Game.
Paul Adams: It’s a lot of fun. We visited the hospital in the beginning of the week. It is probably one of the most important parts of the week. To put the smile on kids’ faces. They have been through a lot. It’s also been very fun in terms of practice. We have O-linemen here from all over the country. We all have such diverse backgrounds. We have gotten really close the past couple of days.
Alex Khvatov: What do you want to show scouts this week?
Paul Adams: My versatility. I can play whenever and whatever position.
Alex Khvatov: What are your strengths?
Paul Adams: My athleticism is good.
Alex Khvatov: What areas of your game are you trying to improve upon?
Paul Adams: First punch.
Alex Khvatov: What is the highlight of you career up to this point?
Paul Adams: I was just talking to one of the ambassadors here who is a Florida fan. Beating Florida at the Swamp. It kind of kick started our season.
Alex Khvatov: How did you wind up at Missouri?
Paul Adams: My high school teammate and I both got an offer from the University of Missouri. We made a promise during our sophomore year of high school that we would go to the same college. He committed first. I was really hesitant. I did a lot of prayer and talked to close friends of mine. I visited the school three times before I committed. They were getting kind of suspicious because I kept coming up and not committing. It was a long, but fun process.
Alex Khvatov: How would you describe your QB Drew Lock?
Paul Adams: He is an incredible guy on and off the field. He is a great leader. He is incredible at what he does.
Alex Khvatov: Who was the toughest DL to block in practice at Missouri?
Paul Adams: Shane Ray and Markus Golden when I was on a scout team my freshman year.
