Alex Khvatov: Tell us about your overall experience at the 2019 East/West Shrine Game.
Daniel Wise: It’s been a fun experience. We started the week off by visiting the hospital. It touched us and the children. Everything that we have done this whole week has been for the kids.
Alex Khvatov: What has your older brother told you about the NFL?
Daniel Wise: Main thing is just handling my business. Getting my body right and knowing my playbook.
Alex Khvatov: You have dominated the competition this week. What is the secret behind your success?
Daniel Wise: I had this in me for a while. I had three brothers in the household. The competitive nature was always flowing in me.
Alex Khvatov: How did you wind up at Kansas?
Daniel Wise: I fell in love with the campus and the coaches. I wanted to play at KU.
Alex Khvatov: What is the highlight of your career up to this point?
Daniel Wise: Beating Texas.
Alex Khvatov: Do you believe that Les Miles will be able to turn the Kansas football program around?
Daniel Wise: I hope for the best. Jayhawk fans need it and the football teams needs it.
Alex Khvatov: What are your strengths?
Daniel Wise: Pass rush, energy and motor.
Alex Khvatov: What areas of your game are you trying to improve upon?
Daniel Wise: Strength in the run game.
Alex Khvatov: Where are you currently training for the NFL Draft?
Daniel Wise: At EXOS in Frisco, Texas.
