Alex Khvatov:  Describe your overall experience at the 2019 East/West Shrine Game. 

Tyler Jones:  It’s been a really good experience.  Being coached by guys who are already on that level.  I answered some questions about whether I can play in the interior at the next level.  I am really excited that I have been here this week/      

Alex Khvatov:  What are your strengths? 

Tyler Jones:  Durability and versatility.  I have played all five positions across the board at NC State.    

Alex Khvatov:  What areas of your game are you trying to improve upon?

Tyler Jones:  Finishing my blocks.    

Alex Khvatov:  What is the highlight of you career up to this point?

Tyler Jones:  Last year, we beat Louisville at home.  They were #14 and they were led by Lamar Jackson.  Beating them at night wearing all black uniforms. 

Alex Khvatov:  How would you describe your QB Ryan Finley? 

Tyler Jones:  He is a good guy.  He is a great QB.  He is really smart.  He knows what he wants to do with the ball.        

Alex Khvatov:  Where are you currently training for the NFL Draft?

Tyler Jones:  In Pensacola, FL at EXOS. 

Alex Khvatov:  How did you wind up at NC State?

Tyler Jones:  It was just a perfect fit for me.  I knew that I could get a chance to play early and get a degree from a great university.  Raleigh is a great city.  It is almost like Atlanta.  It is not as busy.  It is the closest thing you could find outside of Atlanta. 

Alex Khvatov:  Who was the toughest DL to go up against in practice this week?

Tyler Jones:  Chris Slayton from Syracuse.  He is a big guy.       

Alex Khvatov:  What one word best describes you? 

Tyler Jones:  Worker.
