Alex Khvatov:  What are your measurements (height, weight and forty time)?

 

Deontae Crumitie:  6’2, 305.

Alex Khvatov:  Where are you currently training for the NFL Draft?

 

Deontae Crumitie:  I am training with our team staff here at Troy.

Alex Khvatov:  Describe your overall experience at the 2019 Tropical Bowl.

 

Deontae Crumitie:  It was fun.  Great to connect with other guys and meet some scouts.

Alex Khvatov:  Who was the best player that you faced during the all-star game weekend?

 

Deontae Crumitie:  Jones from FSU.  He was cool and great to work against him in practice.   


Alex Khvatov:  What is the biggest thing that you will take away from the Tropical Bowl?

 

Deontae Crumitie:  The competitiveness that everyone brought each day.

Alex Khvatov:  Coming out of high school, what programs showed interest in you?

 

Deontae Crumitie:  Florida, FSU, USF, UAB, Troy and more.

Alex Khvatov:  Why did you choose Troy?

 

Deontae Crumitie:  The coaches understood my situation and brought me in as family.  We all had the same goal.

Alex Khvatov:  What are your strengths?

 

Deontae Crumitie:  I’m powerful and smart.  I am a quick learner.

Alex Khvatov:  What areas of your game are you trying to improve upon?

 

Deontae Crumitie:  Feet and hand placement.

Alex Khvatov:  Describe your overall career.

 

Deontae Crumitie:  It was a great journey watching myself improve each year.

Alex Khvatov:  What is the highlight of your career up to this point?

 

Deontae Crumitie:  I would say finishing my career blessed and healthy with no injuries and a chance to continue.   


Alex Khvatov:  What is your biggest accomplishment in college that you are most proud of?

 

Deontae Crumitie:  Making all-conference team, affecting other people around me and becoming a leader.

Alex Khvatov:  What have you learned the most from your coaching staff?

 

Deontae Crumitie:  How to lead and also lead myself.

Alex Khvatov:  What is your favorite NFL team?

 

Deontae Crumitie:  Jacksonville Jags.

Alex Khvatov:  Who is your favorite NFL player?

 

Deontae Crumitie:  My brothers Laremy Tunsil and Timmy Jernigan.

Alex Khvatov:  What is the most important trait for an OL?

 

Deontae Crumitie:  Staying consistent.

Alex Khvatov:  Before the ball is snapped, what are the tendencies that you are looking for from the defense?

 

Deontae Crumitie:  Reading the defensive alignment, looking for the blitz or whatever they are trying to stunt.

Alex Khvatov:  What players on your team should we keep an eye on for next season?

 

Deontae Crumitie:  Tron Folsom, B.J. Smith and Kirk Kelley.

Alex Khvatov:  Who is the toughest player that you have faced on an opposing team?

 

Deontae Crumitie:  Chris Jones from KC Chiefs.

Deontae Crumitie:  The competitiveness.

Deontae Crumitie:  A leader who leads themselves before others.
