Alex Khvatov:  Tell us about your overall experience at the 2019 East/West Shrine Game. 

Devine Ozigbo:  It is definitely a fun and interesting week.  You meet a lot of cool people.  You learn a lot.    

Alex Khvatov:  What was the reason behind your breakout senior campaign? 

Devine Ozigbo:  The environment that the new coaching staff brought to Nebraska.  They brought a good vibe and refreshing energy. 

Alex Khvatov:  What has coach Frost brought to the Huskers this past season?

Devine Ozigbo:  He definitely brought confidence and edge to the team.  He allows his players to play free.  You just try to play your best game.  It all kind of worked out.  People started buying in. 

Alex Khvatov:  What did you want to prove to scouts this week? 

Devine Ozigbo:  If you look at my career, I kind of took off during my senior year.  I wanted to show everyone I am exactly the guy that they saw this past season.  I could be that consistent guy for the rest of my career. 

Alex Khvatov:  Who was the toughest player that you faced in practice this week? 

Devine Ozigbo:  I liked the LB from Kansas (Joe Dineen).  He is a thumper.  He just provides a natural punch when he hits you.            

Alex Khvatov:  What are your strengths? 

Devine Ozigbo:  I am a bigger guy who can provide the skillset of a smaller back.  I run fast, hit the hole hard, I catch the ball, run routes and block.  I can do it all.    

Alex Khvatov:  What areas of your game are you trying to improve upon?

Devine Ozigbo:  Just my overall play because it would be a huge jump from college to the NFL.  Matching that speed as fast as possible.    

Alex Khvatov:  What is the highlight of you career up to this point?

Devine Ozigbo:  My junior year when I finally got that first carry against Northern Illinois.  The crowd erupted. 

Alex Khvatov:  How did you wind up at Nebraska? 

Devine Ozigbo:  I was committed to Iowa State.  I had a moment of hesitation late in the recruiting process.  Nebraska reached out.  They made an offer, and I committed. 

Alex Khvatov:  Where are you currently training for the NFL Draft?

Devine Ozigbo:  At XPE Sports in Boca Raton, Florida with Tony Villani.          

Alex Khvatov:  What one word best describes you?

Devine Ozigbo:  Hungry.
