Ed Hunt:  How did you feel out there during the Senior Bowl practices?

Drew Sample:  It felt good.  It felt good to be back out playing some football, learning a new offense from this coaching staff.  It was a lot of fun to compete against some really good players on our team.  I feel like we’ve had a good week of practice.  We’re excited for the game on Saturday.

Ed Hunt:  I noticed you were doing well at receiver and are more of blocking tight end.  Is that something you take pride in?

Drew Sample:  I think I was able to show myself as a receiving threat this week, but I still want to show that I was blocking well.  It was a good week.  I was happy to be out here.  It is fun competing against these guys.

Ed Hunt:  What’s your biggest takeaway from this practice going into the game?

Drew Sample:  I think it’s going to be fun.  Getting together with these guys and bonding.  I know we’ve been going against each other all week, and we’ve built that team vibe in a couple days.  I’m excited to go out and run the offense.  It’s something different than what we had at UW.  I’m excited to show the coaches and the scouts what we can do.
