Workpeh Kofa:  6’0 ft, 205lbs.

Alex Khvatov:  Where are you currently training for the NFL Draft?

Workpeh Kofa:  Charlotte, NC.

Alex Khvatov:  Describe your overall experience at the 2019 Tropical Bowl.

Workpeh Kofa:  The experience was a blessing.  Thankful to have a chance to show many scouts what I can do and to see me compete against guys from all over.

Alex Khvatov:  What is the biggest thing that you will take away from the Tropical Bowl?

Workpeh Kofa:  My biggest takeaway from it was that no matter where you came from and what happened in the past, you have to take advantage of the opportunity presented at hand.

Alex Khvatov:  Coming out of high school, what programs showed interest in you?

Workpeh Kofa:  Charlotte, App St, Toledo, Ball St, Louisville and UNC.

Alex Khvatov:  Why did you choose UNC Charlotte?

Workpeh Kofa:  I chose Charlotte because of the opportunity to make history in a new program that was in my home town.  Wanted my dad to be able to see me play.

Alex Khvatov:  What are your strengths?

Workpeh Kofa:  Strong hands and catch radius.

Alex Khvatov:  What areas of your game are you trying to improve upon?

Workpeh Kofa:  Cleaner routes and hip mobility.

Alex Khvatov:  Describe your overall career.

Workpeh Kofa:  I would describe my overall career as being a very reliable receiver who did his job.  You can rely on me to move the sticks.

Alex Khvatov:  What is the highlight of your career up to this point?

Workpeh Kofa:  First 100-yard game.

Alex Khvatov:  What is your biggest accomplishment in college that you are most proud of?

Workpeh Kofa:  Making PFF top 10 in consecutive catches without a drop two years in a row.

Alex Khvatov:  What have you learned the most from your coaching staff?

Workpeh Kofa:  You have to show up every day with the same mindset to work on the little things because you rely on the training.

Alex Khvatov:  What is your favorite NFL team?

Workpeh Kofa:  Carolina Panthers.

Alex Khvatov:  Who is your favorite NFL player?

Workpeh Kofa:  All-time favorite is Steve Smith.  Current players are Davante Adams and Amari Cooper.

Alex Khvatov:  What is the most important trait for a WR?

Workpeh Kofa:  Versatility, being able to play all WR positions, as well as being a reliable target.

Alex Khvatov:  Before the ball is snapped, what are the tendencies that you are looking for from the defense?

Workpeh Kofa:  I’m looking for backside rotation of the backside safety as well as front side.  I’m looking at the triangle between corner, LB and safety as well just to get a feel for coverage and leverage.

Alex Khvatov:  What players on your team should we keep an eye on for next season?

Workpeh Kofa:  Look out for Anthony Butler, Cameron Clark, Victor Tucker, Alex Highsmith, Benny Lemay, Ben Deluca and Quinton Jordan.

Alex Khvatov:  Who is the toughest player that you have faced on an opposing team?

Workpeh Kofa:  Jeremy Cutrer, MTSU.

Alex Khvatov:  What is your definition of a leader?

Workpeh Kofa:  A leader is one who people look to for answers and guidance regardless if they are vocal or quiet lead by example guy.  This is also someone people trust when you confide in them.  A leader finds ways to beat struggles.

Alex Khvatov:  What are your hobbies?

Workpeh Kofa:  Love watching Anime (Dragon Ball Z & Naruto) and love watching movies I watched growing up as well as TV shows.  Listening to music is a big hobby for me.  I love the different decades of music like 2000’s and 90’s.  Big basketball fan, love eating food, study other receivers and play 2K.

Alex Khvatov:  What do you want to do with your life after your football career is over?

Workpeh Kofa:  I would love to one day coach WR’s.  I would love to open an indoor facility in Charlotte for kids to train and I would help out with receiver development.  I can see myself having many youth camps for skill development.  Lastly I would love to work for an NFL organization helping with player development.
