Ed Hunt: What are your measurements? (height, weight and 40 time)
Tim Ward: I’m 6’5, 255lbs and I would run a 4.6 if I was fully healthy.
Ed Hunt: What is your best position?
Tim Ward: Either a defensive end or an outside linebacker.
Ed Hunt: What positions can you play?
Tim Ward: I’m a defensive end and outside linebacker. I also played some nose and interior tackle.
Ed Hunt: Who is the best player you have faced on an opposing team?
Tim Ward: Singletary from FAU.
Ed Hunt: Coming out of high school, which schools showed interest in you?
Tim Ward: Old Dominion, Gardner Webb and Hampton.
Ed Hunt: What made you ultimately choose Old Dominion?
Tim Ward: They were the only FBS school, so this was my best chance at the NFL.
Ed Hunt: What are your strengths?
Tim Ward: Run defense, setting the edge, length and quickness.
Ed Hunt: What areas of your game are you trying to improve upon?
Tim Ward: Using my hands more.
Ed Hunt: Describe your overall career.
Tim Ward: I would say I got off to a slow start but I finished pretty good and it was a good overall experience.
Ed Hunt: What is the highlight of your career at this point?
Tim Ward: Beating Virginia Tech.
Ed Hunt: Are you trying to add weight at this point in the draft process?
Tim Ward: Not really, maybe a couple pounds. Keep getting stronger.
Ed Hunt: What have you learned the most from your coaching staff?
Tim Ward: How to be a good person. You have to be a good person on and off the field.
Ed Hunt: Is there a role you have played on special teams thus far in your career?
Tim Ward: Not much, I was on the punt return unit.
Ed Hunt: What is your favorite NFL team?
Tim Ward: Colts.
Ed Hunt: Who is your favorite NFL player?
Tim Ward: Jadeveon Clowney.
Ed Hunt: What’s the most important trait for a DL?
Tim Ward: Just being physical and taking it to the offensive line.
Ed Hunt: Before the ball is snapped, what tendencies are you looking for in that offense?
Tim Ward: Formation and how the offensive tackle is in his stance.
Ed Hunt: What players on your team should we keep an eye on for next season?
Tim Ward: Juwan Ross.
Ed Hunt: What do you enjoy most about football?
Tim Ward: The camaraderie.

Tim Ward: My dad. He raised me to be who I am.

Tim Ward: Someone who can get people to follow them.

Tim Ward: I have a criminal justice degree. Do something in criminal justice.
