Alex Khvatov: What are your measurements (height, weight and forty time)?
Tre Thomas: 6’2, 222 and a 4.7 forty.
Alex Khvatov: Where are you currently training for the NFL Draft?
Tre Thomas: I am training at the school in Fort Collins with my strength and conditioning coach Joey.
Alex Khvatov: How would you describe your Pro Day performance?
Tre Thomas: I was satisfied with the overall results. I had to start training later than what I expected. I have been training for only three weeks because I had to work and help my mom out.
Alex Khvatov: Coming out of high school, what programs showed interest in you?
Tre Thomas: Coming out of high school, Colorado State was my first offer. I had numerous teams from around the MWC. I had San Jose State, New Mexico State, Utah State, Nevada, Iowa, Northern Colorado and Wyoming.
Alex Khvatov: Why did you choose Colorado State?
Tre Thomas: I am originally from Denver. I liked their overall program and where they were headed. I built a good relationship with the coaches.
Alex Khvatov: What are your strengths?
Tre Thomas: The main strength is my work ethic. I get others to work and compete with me. I have that competitive edge.
Alex Khvatov: What areas of your game are you trying to improve upon?
Tre Thomas: Right now, I am working on my speed. I want to get back to where my speed was before. I gained 15 pounds in three weeks during training. I am looking to get bigger, faster and stronger.
Alex Khvatov: Describe your overall career.
Tre Thomas: As a team, we accomplished a lot. Four out of the five years, we went to a bowl game. We had coaching changes, but I grew every year. I played in a lot of games. There were lots of memories.
Alex Khvatov: What is the highlight of your career up to this point?
Tre Thomas: It was my pick during my junior year. It was my first pick six of my entire college career. We opened up a brand-new stadium. It was the first week of the season.
Alex Khvatov: What is your biggest accomplishment in college that you are most proud of?
Tre Thomas: The biggest accomplishment was just graduating from college. I have put in a lot of work. I received my criminal justice degree.
Alex Khvatov: What have you learned the most from your coaching staff?
Tre Thomas: You can only control what you can control. Control your attitude and bring others with you.
Alex Khvatov: What is your favorite NFL team?
Tre Thomas: The Broncos.
Alex Khvatov: Who is your favorite NFL player?
Tre Thomas: Definitely Tyrann Mathieu.
Alex Khvatov: What is the most important trait for a LB?
Tre Thomas: Communication. Linebackers are at the center of the defense.
Alex Khvatov: Before the ball is snapped, what are the tendencies that you are looking for from the offense?
Tre Thomas: I start with the O-linemen. I look at how their hands are pressed. I watch the formations and the motions.
Alex Khvatov: What players on your team should we keep an eye on for next season?
Tre Thomas: Safety Jamal Hicks will definitely be a good player. He will be a senior next year. LB Max McDonald LB is going into his senior year.
Alex Khvatov: Who is the toughest player that you have faced on an opposing team?
Tre Thomas: Probably Jalen Hurts, the former Alabama QB.
Alex Khvatov: What do you enjoy most about football?
Tre Thomas: I enjoy the excitement and the pressure of the game. When you get the adrenaline pumping. I am also a team person. Being a part of the team is special.
Alex Khvatov: What makes you unique?
Tre Thomas: I stand out because of my determination and work ethic. I was always the underdog. I am not the fastest or strongest, but I work extremely hard.
Alex Khvatov: What are your hobbies?
Tre Thomas: Activities with my family like laser tag, amusement parks and go-karts.
Alex Khvatov: What do you want to do with your life after your football career is over?
Tre Thomas: I want to get into law enforcement. I wanted to be a probation officer for juveniles.

Tre Thomas: Dedicated, hard-working, self-motivated, integrity and loyalty.
