Trevon Wesco
Tight End
West Virginia
Ed Hunt: How did it feel out there during your Pro Day?
Trevon Westco: I felt good. I wanted to show the coaches that I could run long routes. I didn’t do a lot of long routes during my season. I just wanted to show them that I had the speed to do it. That I had the movement to do it.
Ed Hunt: I saw you working with some scouts. What was the biggest takeaway from coaching?
Trevon Westco: A lot of them want to see your strength and if you replace your feet.
Ed Hunt: Is there any teams that you have a pre-draft visit with?
Trevon Westco: Yeah, I have some. I have visits with the Dolphins, the Texans and the Giants.
Ed Hunt: Do you think you are an undersized tight end or do you think you fit within the range?
Trevon Westco: No, I think I fit within range. I think I am a versatile player that I can do fullback and tight end. I’m a true tight end when it comes down to it.
Ed Hunt: Is there a particular type of offense that you think you fit in better?
Trevon Westco: No, I feel like I fit in anywhere I get put. Whoever picks me up, I will be a fit because I can do so many different things.
