2020 Shrine Bowl - East Team - Wednesday Practice - NFL Draft Blitz

2020 Shrine Bowl – East Team – Wednesday Practice

2020 East/West Shrine Bowl

Wednesday Practice – Day Three

East Team

CB Parnell Motley (Oklahoma)

Motley had an outstanding practice on Wednesday.  He is able to read and react quickly.  There is no wasted motion when he is coming out of his breaks.  Outstanding closing speed and good change of direction skills.  He was able to break up a number of passes whether it was in the one on one’s, team scrimmage or in the red zone.

QB Kevin Davidson (Princeton)

He has been the most consistent QB for the East team.  He can fit the ball into a tight window because of his arm talent.  He was commanding the huddle during the two-minute drill and spreading the ball around.  He read the field better during Wednesday’s practice.  However, he got away with one throw in the red zone.  He was staring down his WR all the way, and the DB almost had an INT.

WR Diondre Overton (Clemson)

He was a late arrival because he played in the National Championship game.  This was his first practice.  He made a couple of beautiful grabs during the session.  He used his size, outstanding leaping ability and finished well at the catch point when the DB was draped all over him.

WR Mason Kinsey (Berry College)

Division III product has gotten better each day.  He runs very good routes.  He is quick coming out of his breaks.  He made some nice grabs in the red zone.

WR Malcolm Perry (Navy)

He played QB in college.  Perry has made a smooth transition to WR this week.  Another player who has gotten better as the week has progressed.  He catches the ball cleanly away from his frame.  He was running good routes.  His speed and quickness were on display.

DT McTelvin Agim (Arkansas)

During the early portion of practice, he was once again disruptive in the backfield.  He fires off the ball and has shown a tremendous first step.  He has flashed some pass rush repertoire moves.  I didn’t see him in the one on one’s today.

RB Tavien Feaster (South Carolina)

He was outstanding again during the pass blocking drills in the one on one’s.
