Alex Khvatov:  How would you describe your overall experience at the 2020 East/West Shrine Bowl? 

 

Keith Washington Jr:  It’s been fun and exciting.  Going against some of the best talent in the nation.  Getting to know the coaching staff.  It’s been fun being out here with the kids at the hospital.   

 

Alex Khvatov:  Why did you transfer from Michigan to West Virginia? 

 

Keith Washington Jr:  I was looking for a new opportunity.  I loved West Virginia and the fan base.  I loved the coaches, and they gave me that chance.  It was the right fit for me.     

 

Alex Khvatov:  What are your strengths? 

 

Keith Washington Jr:  I am a smart player.  I am tough and have great ball skills.  I am also a great teammate. 

 

Alex Khvatov:  Who has been the toughest WR to guard in practice during this week? 

 

 Keith Washington Jr:  Binjimen Victor from Ohio State.         

 

Alex Khvatov:  What areas of your game are you trying to improve upon? 

 

Keith Washington Jr:  Just technique and the little things like where to be at the right time.  Just different schemes.   

 

Alex Khvatov:  What is the highlight of your career up to this point?

 

Keith Washington Jr:  My very first game starting against Texas Tech.  I had a pick six that essentially sealed the deal. 

 

Alex Khvatov:  Where are you currently training or the NFL Draft? 

 

Keith Washington Jr:  At Michael Johnson Performance in Texas.  I felt like it was the right place for me to be.  I want to run fast.     

 

Alex Khvatov:  What one word best describes you? 

 

Keith Washington Jr:  Tough.    

 

Alex Khvatov:  How would you sum up your overall career at West Virginia? 

 

Keith Washington Jr:  I was the guy that came in and was a great teammate.  I am a hard worker on and off the field.  I set the tone.  I was also a great example player.  I made plays.
