Tavien Feaster
Running Back / South Carolina
Alex Khvatov: How would you describe your overall experience at the 2020 East/West Shrine Bowl?
Tavien Feaster: It has been very competitive. I am coming out here and seeing top ranked senior guys. Competing against them. It has been a challenge, but I have put my best foot forward.
Alex Khvatov: Tell me about your career at Clemson.
Tavien Feaster: It was a great experience. I won two National titles and three ACC titles. I was a champion while I was there. The guys in the locker room, and the way I carried myself there.
Alex Khvatov: Why did you transfer to South Carolina?
Tavien Feaster: I was seeking a better opportunity. I wanted to showcase my skills more and my ability. I am forever grateful to South Carolina for letting me come there.
Alex Khvatov: What is the highlight of your career up to this point?
Tavien Feaster: My Florida game. It was the biggest game for me in college.
Alex Khvatov: What are your strengths?
Tavien Feaster: I am a bigger guy. I am also a fast guy. I can catch the ball and make a guy miss.
Alex Khvatov: You have been doing a great job in pass protection this week. Do you take a lot of pride in blocking?
Tavien Feaster: If you want to play in the NFL, you have to be able to pass block. I want to show everybody that I can do it.
Alex Khvatov: What areas of your game are you trying to improve upon?
Tavien Feaster: Working on being able to reset in pass blocking. When the defender makes another move, I have to be able to re-engage and deliver another strike.
Alex Khvatov: Where are you currently training for the NFL Draft?
Tavien Feaster: TNT Sports.
Alex Khvatov: What was it like to see Clemson in the National Championship again this year?
Tavien Feaster: I was proud of those guys. They played their tails off. They deserved to be there.
Alex Khvatov: How did you wind up at Clemson?
Tavien Feaster: I was a highly recruited guy. But I chose Clemson because of the family culture. The way they handled their academic process. I graduated in three years. It speaks volumes in itself.
Alex Khvatov: What was your major?
Tavien Feaster: I got a degree in Parks, Recreation and Tourism.
