Alex Khvatov: What are your measurements (height, weight and forty time)?
Ryan Stokes: 6’3, 205, 4.49.
Alex Khvatov: Coming out of high school, what programs showed interest in you?
Ryan Stokes: Ball State, Illinois and Missouri were the schools that showed the most interest.
Alex Khvatov: How did you wind up at a junior college?
Ryan Stokes: Things where I am from were challenging, and I was not able to get things done when I changed schools.
Alex Khvatov: Why did you transfer to Texas A&M Commerce?
Ryan Stokes: I transferred to Commerce because it was close to my mom. She would be able to come to see my games because it was 45 minutes away. She was not able to make it to my games a lot because I played in California at a junior college. The program had a great coach and it was fun to talk to him. It made me feel that I was a part of his family when I came to visit the school.
Alex Khvatov: What are your strengths?
Ryan Stokes: My strengths is that I can take the top of any defense and I like to run, so guarding me will be a challenge to every DB that I come across. I also have an attitude that rubs off on my own teammates when they see me fired up, they get fired up with me.
Alex Khvatov: What areas of your game are you trying to improve upon?
Ryan Stokes: The areas in my game that I am trying to improve is the top of my route with my shoulders and being able to accelerate faster.
Alex Khvatov: How would you describe your overall career?
Ryan Stokes: I had a bit more of a decent career and I played hard in the games that I played in. I did big things and was a big factor. I made an impact.
Alex Khvatov: What is the highlight of your career up to this point?
Ryan Stokes: The highlight of my career was my freshman year when I had 18 touchdowns with seven of those being called back. I finished the year with 11 touchdowns in six games.
Alex Khvatov: What was the biggest thing that you took away from your coaching staff?
Ryan Stokes: The biggest thing that I took away from my coaching staff was actually not football related. My coaching staff made me into a better person. I became a better all-around person.
Alex Khvatov: What is the most important trait for a WR?
Ryan Stokes: The most important trait is that a wide receiver must be able to adjust on the fly. Being able to make the play that you should or people think that you shouldn’t.
Alex Khvatov: What is your favorite NFL team?
Ryan Stokes: My favorite football team is the LA Rams since I was a little kid.
Alex Khvatov: Who is your favorite NFL player?
Ryan Stokes: My favorite NFL player is Torry Holt. People used to joke and say I looked and played like him all the time. I liked his game.
Alex Khvatov: Who was the best player that you have faced on an opposing team?
Ryan Stokes: Devin Hafford was the best DB I may have faced. He is different than the others. He made the game fun instead of me feeling that it was easy.
Alex Khvatov: What are your hobbies?
Ryan Stokes: My hobbies are swimming and skateboarding
Alex Khvatov: What do you want to do with your life after your football career is over?
Ryan Stokes: I want to be a home owner and rebuild houses. Make hotels and other such things.

Ryan Stokes: Funny, humble, ambitious, adaptable and diligent.
