CB Tyler Hall (Wyoming) Interview - NFL Draft Blitz

CB Tyler Hall (Wyoming) Interview

Tyler Hall

Cornerback / Wyoming

Ed Hunt:  How did it feel out there during your Pro Day?

Tyler Hall:  It felt good.  I kind of treated today like gameday.  Just prepare for it like gameday.  Going back to what I used to do.  Coming out in whatever challenges ahead of me, be able to compete and dominate.

Ed Hunt:  Your testing numbers seemed pretty good.  Is that what got the scouts talking to you?

Tyler Hall:  Definitely.  Knowing that this opportunity was the chance to showcase my skills.  Prove to any doubters.  Just come out here, have fun and compete.  Just show my elusiveness and show my hips in DB drills.  I know it was a big day for me, so just come out and have fun.

Ed Hunt:  I was using the stopwatch.  Did I see the 4.3 speed on the stopwatch?

Tyler Hall:  Most definitely!

Ed Hunt:  What did they tell you that they had?

Tyler Hall:  Some people had me at 4.35, 4.38 and 4.36, so just somewhere in that range.  That’s what I was told, so most definitely 4.3.

Ed Hunt:  You are going to get another opportunity to do drills in front of scouts.

Tyler Hall:  Hopefully that’s the plan now.  I just wait, go back home and still train.  I have a couple local days coming up.  Since I’m a local guy, I might be able to come to the Chargers and Rams local day.

Ed Hunt:  Would you say you are a slot guy at the next level?

Tyler Hall:  I feel like I played both, but I’m more dominant in the slot position.  Be able to make plays on the ball.

Ed Hunt:  In your four years, who was the best receiver you ever faced?

Tyler Hall:  I would say John Orsua, the wide receiver out of Hawaii.  I believe he plays for the Seahawks right now.  He was a slot receiver, and I like the way he ran his routes.

Ed Hunt:  What would you say your biggest strengths are?

Tyler Hall:  I would say my speed, my versatility and my competitiveness.

Ed Hunt:  Do you have any experience playing special teams at Wyoming?

Tyler Hall:  I started kick returner since my sophomore year.  I’ve returned two kickoff returns.  And then after that I played gunner and stuff like that in my beginner years here.

Ed Hunt:  Do you feel like you are an NFL gunner?

Tyler Hall:  Most definitely!  I feel like wherever an NFL team needs me, I will be able to do.  If an NFL team needs me to play gunner, I will do that to the best of my ability.
