NFC East Draft Grades

Dallas Cowboys

Oklahoma WR CeeDee Lamb was a steal in the first round.  He is a physical receiver with great ball skills.  He is very elusive after the catch.  Second rounder Trevon Diggs from Alabama is the younger brother of WR Stefon Diggs.  The Cowboys love long corners.  Oklahoma DT Neville Gallimore in the third round has terrific quickness and power.  Fourth round pick Tulsa CB Reggie Robinson II has good size and speed.  He was one of the better press corners available in this draft.  Wisconsin C Tyler Biadasz was another fourth rounder.  He is a good run blocker and fell because of some injury concerns.

Grade B

New York Giants

The Giants had to fix their offensive line and they made that a priority during the 2020 NFL Draft.  Andrew Thomas from Georgia was my top tackle on the board.  He was drafted 4th overall in the first round.  He should be a starting LT from day one.  He was the best pass protector in the draft.  Second rounder S Xavier McKinney from Alabama is a playmaker with good instincts.  Uconn OT Matt Peart was a steal in the third round.  He was one of the more underrated OL in this draft.  He could play RT or OG.  Oregon OG Shane Lemieux was selected in the fourth round and was their best pick on day three.  He is a physical run blocker who shows terrific finishing ability.

Grade B+

Philadelphia Eagles

TCU WR Jalen Reagor was a good pick in the first round.  He brings excellent speed and should be that deep threat for the Eagles that the team was sorely missing last season.  Oklahoma QB Jalen Hurts in the second round and Colorado LB Davion Taylor in the third round were reaches.  The Eagles made some good value picks on day three.  Fourth rounder Auburn OL Jack Driscoll displays good quickness and excellent hand placement.  Sixth rounder LB Shaun Bradley from Temple is a good coverage backer with good speed.

Grade C+

Washington Redskins

First rounder Ohio State DE Chase Young should be a cornerstone of the defense for the next decade.  He has it all to become a star.  Third round pick from Memphis Antonio Gibson is a jack of all trades.  He is a home run threat and is an excellent receiver.  He also provides value as a returner.  Liberty WR Antonio Gandy-Golden was an excellent pick in the fourth round.  He is a big wideout with good hands and shows the ability to pick up yards after the catch.
