They were impressed by SMU QB Shane Buechele. They see a lot of potential in Gators QB Kyle Trask. They have questions about Jamie Newman who transferred to Georgia, and Ed was underwhelmed by Sam Ehlinger from Texas. Alex previews the small school QB’s to keep an eye on this season. We also looked at Trevor Lawrence, Justin Fields and Trey Lance. Alex would take Lance over Fields at this point. Ed also goes on a rant about MLB and the lack of progress made in negotiations.
