2021 NFL Draft Senior Cornerbacks

Thomas Graham Jr., CB, Oregon

-more of an outside corner

-stays in phase really well at times

-sometimes leans a bit too hard covering routes. Could cut better.

-sometimes late to react in zone coverage

-decent enough tackler

-I think he is a smart player

Ambry Thomas, CB, Michigan

-kick returner

-stays in phase well

-could have a bit better footspeed

-plays press coverage

-average physicality at the line of scrimmage

-gets off blocks decently in the run game

Jack Jones, CB, Arizona State

-physical in the run game

-needs to get off blocks better in the run game though

-stays in phase decently well

-physical at the line of scrimmage

-good ball skills

-played outside but projects more as a slot guy in the NFL

TJ Carter, CB, Memphis

-has the footspeed to stay with his man on vertical routes

-physical in the run game

-stays in phase well on the backpedal

-knows his assignments in zone coverage

-has decent instincts in zone coverage

-I like his physicality and tenacity in the run game as well

-projects more as a slot corner in NFL

Deommodore Lenoir, CB, Oregon

-all Pac 12 honorable mention in 2019

-#2 corner for the Ducks

-gets off blocks well in the run game

-good tackler

-stays in phase well in man coverage

-decent physicality in man coverage

Tre Brown, CB, Oklahoma

-projects more as a slot guy in the NFL

-stays in phase in coverage well

-needs to get off blocks better in the run game

-can sometimes lock arms with receivers. Needs to avoid that to avoid holding calls

-sometimes opens his hips up too early when the play is actually a run

-I still think he has good physicality at the line of scrimmage.

Robert Rochelle, CB, Central Arkansas

-not highly recruited out of high school

-plays a lot of deep zone coverage

-opens his hips up early

-decent at staying in phase in coverage

-sometimes has trouble cutting when mirroring

-sometimes over-commits or gets faked out by a route runner

Camryn Bynum, CB, California

-2nd team all-Pac 12 in 2019

-good tackler

-used in the slot

-has some balance issues getting into his backpedal

-needs to be more physical at the line of scrimmage

-could probably play the outside and in the slot in the NFL

Jalen Walker, CB, Boise State

-aggressive playing style

-average tackler

-late to react in run support

-good awareness in off man coverage

-I like his physicality in man coverage

-shows press but doesn’t actually play a lot of press coverage

Kekaula Kaniho, CB, Boise State

-more of a slot corner

-I like his awareness in zone coverage

-I love his instincts against the run

-elite run defender as a slot corner

-plays more off man coverage than press man coverage

-I think he’s a scrappy player
