Javonte Williams, RB, UNC, #25
I like the way he runs with intensity. He has a good presence of mind around the goal-line and is the Tar Heel’s back in short-yardage situations as compared to Michael Carter who is more the third-down and change of pace back. Williams has good vision and that helps him be patient and see the running lanes. He has good acceleration for a 220-pound back. I like the aggressiveness of his running style after contact and that makes him hard to bring down. He was able to embarrass Miami with his balance after contact. On the day, he ran for 236 yards and averaged over 10 yards per carry with three touchdowns. He played a big part on putting a hurting on Miami.
