-has a commanding presence of the tempo of the offense

-looks very mature and like a leader on the field

Zach Wilson, QB, BYU

-Junior

-6’3, 210lbs

-three years of production

-3,692 passing years and 33 TD

-3-star recruit out of high school

-has a very strong arm

-can fit passes into tight windows

-accurate to all areas of the field

-became a good decision maker

-can extend plays with his feet and make plays happen

-kind of reminds me of Patrick Mahomes

-rumors that he is very arrogant and a know it all but seems humble in the interviews

-pure football guy

-did some charity work with BYU

Justin Fields, QB, Ohio State

-I like his toughness in the postseason with a shot to the ribs and a thumb injury

-Junior

-6’3, 228lbs

-two-year starter, three years of playing

-2,100 yards and 22 TDs

-one of the top 2 recruits in the country

-can run fast and is also a smart runner with the ball in his hands

-mobile inside the pocket as well

-reminds me of Cam Newton

-can also deliver the deep ball

-has the accuracy and distance throwing go routes

-needs a quicker internal clock

-seems to be a team first guy

-had a good attitude about playing hurt

Mac Jones, QB, Alabama

-Really only 1.5 years of starting experience

-reads the whole field and doesn’t stare down receivers

-has good accuracy and ball placement

-is tactical with his ball placement

-makes quick decisions and knows how to keep the tempo of the offense up

-will try to make the challenging throw

-has the footwork down for a quarterback

-very intelligent quarterback on and off the field

-can fit passes into tight windows

-answered questions about Nick Saban calmly

-a bit of a one-year wonder. Had a great 2019

-had a 180 QB rating in 2019

-three-star recruit out of high school

-mobile in the pocket

-accuracy is inconsistent

-loves to try to stretch the field

-can flash pinpoint accuracy on the deep ball

-really will make great throws on the run

-excellent running quarterback

-will try to make the amazing play every time

-needs to be in the right offense with the right offensive coordinator

-moves his head and reads the field correctly

-ball placement needs to be better

-will hold the ball and scramble before releasing the ball

-good upbeat personality

Kyle Trask, QB, Florida

-Senior

-6’5, 240lbs

-three years of production

-second in yards and 1st in TD Passes in 2020

-three-star recruit out of high school

-gets the ball out quickly

-strong arm

-unphased by bad snaps

-average runner

-good accuracy

-sometimes poor decision-making

-looked very angry during his Heisman finalist interview

-very low energy and gave very short answers on the Dan Patrick Show

-was the backup to D’Eriq King in high school and Feleipe Frank at Florida

-definitely a humble guy who is all business

Kellen Mond, QB, Texas A&M

-Senior

-6’3, 217lbs

-four years of good production at Texas A&M

-TD to INT ratio was very good, but was 24th in yards passing

-dual threat quarterback

-four-star recruit out of high school

-good arm strength

-needs to work on his throwing technique

-inaccurate on the deep ball

-smart runner

-decent composure under pressure

-good internal clock

-Senior Bowl MVP

-calm demeanor in interviews

-talked about how he studied Brady and Brees and showed how it improved in his game and the stats reflect it

-you can really tell he believes in himself in his abilities. His calmness in talking about his strengths shows that.

-great deep ball

-good accuracy

-good decision-maker

-very good technique

-gave very bland answers in an interview

-polite guy, but was a little bit low energy

-seemed calm around the interviewer and he didn’t get too tense

Sam Ehlinger, QB, Texas

-4 years of production, very productive all 4 years especially starting sophomore year

-17th in yards passing and a TD-Int ratio of 26:5 in 2020

-4-star recruit out of high school

-dual threat quarterback

-mobile in the pocket

-sometimes poor decision-making

-tries to tuck it and run a lot

-sometimes holds on to the ball too long, slow internal clock

Jamie Newman, QB, Wake Forest/Georgia

-transferred to Georgia but opted out of 2020

-good runner who executed a lot of designed runs

-not great accuracy

-takes a lot of deep shots

-very shifty runner like a running back

-hard to bring down as a runner

-more of a running quarterback

-was a one-year wonder in 2019

-in 2019 had a 60% completion percentage

-threw 26 touchdowns but had 11 interceptions in 2019 at Wake Forest

Ian Book, QB, Notre Dame

-strong pocket awareness

-good accuracy

-good technique with a strong base

-needs a quicker internal clock

-led the Irish to the College Football Playoff
